It's good to hear that a lot from here are getting their PPR already. i just wish the people in our visa office are as efficient as the people in yours!

Thank you. We've figured out what we need to do. She has had no social assiatance, and will have full-time hours in May. I have a job offer already, and she has another job offer. We have some savings, I have a degree and have held the same job for 10 years. We can stay with her parents if necessary.

I think all of that, plus laying out my plans for moving and continuing to save until I do, should be sufficient. My family are also willing to help if necessary (from the US), and we'll have letters stating that, along with letters about the jobs and staying with her parents.

If that isn't good enough, I don't know what would be.

Was your request signed by Case Officer VH?

Thank you. I don't know what Manila's waiting time is but you must be very close. I'm waiting to see what the waiting times are once cic applies the quarterly updates for Stage 2.
This is not over yet but I do feel a little better. It's like peeking an onion...now I have to wait a little bit more and then worry about the whole moving process...yucky

K- so help me out. Should I be excited beings they requested my passport- PPR? Everyone is excited when they get that notice...does it mean the end is actually in sight??

I guess if I didn't have to be anxious about getting the FBI clearance (AGAIN) and to CIC on time before their May 6th (60 days) deadline, I would be.....sigh......

well I am not sure how Ottawa goes but when my VO asks for the passport we get them back about 2 weeks later with a pretty stamp in it so I would say yes you can get excited! Congrats

I got my Passport Request on 2/21 with other additional requested info. Sent back to Ottawa and received by them on 3/4. CIC says a decision has been made, but haven't received anything yet.

Was hoping it would be today (2 weeks later), but nothing. Hopefully this week!

Any ideas?

Hi fellow September applicants!! Little while since I've had anything to update but great to see so many of you moving through the process I've had a request for additional documents for my daughter today so at least I know London has my file...fingers crossed it wont be too long!!
