Hi fellow September applicants!! Little while since I've had anything to update but great to see so many of you moving through the process I've had a request for additional documents for my daughter today so at least I know London has my file...fingers crossed it wont be too long!!

A few quick questions.

My husband got an email asking for a copy of his passport on March 19!!!!!
He replied yesterday with a scan of his passport.

How soon will he receive the COPR in the mail? He had them mail it to my address in Canada.
Do you think it'll be faster?
What was your experience?

Congrats! My 'Decision Made' on ECAS was on 12th March 2013. I haven't received anything yet but hope that it comes in the mail today! I am in NYC.

Evening All,

Just an update I received my COPR today in the mail today!! So exciting to finally get it. So total time frame from beginning to end was about 6 months and 6 days. Will land in the summer; and start my new life with my Canadian hubby!! Good luck to all still waiting; I will be still cheering you all on as you go through the process as well. ;D

Question though, now that I have the COPR will I ever receive a physical card? How do I prove to employers that I am legally allowed to work, etc? Any ideas or resources to read through?

It did. On 3/12/13 my status on Ecas was updated to Decision Made.

I applied through Ottawa and live in NYC.
