I am! After stage 1 approval, I got quiet on the September thread.

Yay, we got our CSQ today! 8) Approved Nov. 20, delivered Nov. 30 - a little slow for a 450-mile delivery "par avion", but something to celebrate nonetheless!

Hey everyone! We filed our app in the last week of September* and still haven't gotten our first stage yet. Getting a little worried. Any ideas?

* we actually filed it the first time in late August, but it got sent back a month later.

Whoops, I should add that our VO is Mississauga.

You are well past the processing time! You should definitely give them a call since November applicants are hearing from CIC already.

Aah, that's what I thought. Is the number 613-944-4000 correct? I found it elsewhere on the forums but I can't seem to find it on the official website.

Crossing my fingers and hoping they didn't lose our application. Not everything in there is a copy...

We didn't receive a letter/email for the 1st stage approval, so my husband called too.

We used that one too. Only the sponsor will be able to call and find out. My husband was very nervous, he told me "they say that if you pissed him off, your application could be delayed....are you sure I can call?"
They probably had the wrong email address. Everything should be okay

no if you call Canada you are ok.......I called about 4 times and mine was never delayed.....they say that more after the application gets to the Visa office that you shouldnt bother them but calling the one in Canada won't put a delay on your application. Get on the phone on Monday and find out what is going on because you definitely should have heard something by now. (PS: it will take a few time to reach CIC Mississauga but just keep calling back to get them)
