Congrats Lila23!! How long did it take for them to send it?Lila23 said:Csq approved on 27novyupiii
Congratulations! There's a CSQ spreadsheet if you don't mind sharing your processing time! http://tinyurl.com/CSQprocessingtimesLila23 said:Csq approved on 27novyupiii
I don't think it's a big deal if everyone can edit it (and I agree with your logic - it's "our" spreadsheet!) because we can easily revert to various edits in Google Drive. We just have to make sure that when someone screws up the spreadsheet intentionally or unintentionally, we don't start adding in new information so that nothing is lost! I must admit, I panicked when I opened the spreadsheet that time on my mobile because I forgot about the revision history.Ryathe said:Hi all,
I'm the owner of the spreadsheet and as a response to your concerns - I've disabled the option to make any changes to it for anybody except myself. So from now on, send me a msg here on the forum or a private one if you want me to change something there.
When I was creating it I was convinced (and I still am) that enabling everybody to make changes for themselves was better as it made all of us equally responsible for it and it felt more like "our" spreadsheet. Sure I expected that some may have problems with filling it well etc. but I kinda assumed that the ones with a better knowledge would help to fix it. And that's how it was. On a few occasions when there was some big mix up in the spreadsheet we fixed it easily. I don't think these mix ups were done intentionally - rather somebody clicked something by accident and then didn't know how to undo it. But generally, didn't it feel better to be able to make changes yourself rather than report it to one person?
Anyway, long story short, I can enable the changes again no problem if you want me to, just let me know.
Thanks a lot chickie72. I just sent them an email, i didnt use the outlook express though just copied the email address and emailed from my webmail, hope that is ok :-\chickie72 said:Click the link below:

go towards the bottom of the page to technical problems and you will see Webmaster in blue....click on it and it will send you to an email form......email the Webmaster will all your information and explain what is going on. They will send you an email back if there is any more information they need from you. They are pretty good and will get it figured out for you.
I'd be very interested to hear if you get some kind of confirmation on ECAS that your CSQ has been received by your visa office, or if you need to call or email the visa office to make sure that they've got it.Lila23 said:I fink it took around 27days n its forward to nairobi my visa office
Not yet, but I'm still waiting for the CSQ - should be any day now, I hope.Lila23 said:I dont have anything on ecas about csq may be i shall email them did you have a notification from your visa office?
Quebec requires applicants intending to reside in Quebec to get a "Quebec Selection Certificate" (or CSQ, abbreviated from the French "certificat de sélection du Québec"). It's an easy application (but may be submitted only in French), plus an additional fee based on the number of sponsored persons, and when you're approved they send the CSQ to both your visa office and to you. It adds about a month to the processing time, and your regular VO does the processing.lunas said:Congrats!is that an extra step for Quebec? Where do they forward your file after that?
