i dont know because we send the application to vegreville. We are both living in Canada. I am here with a work and travel visa. I read that it takes much longer if you apply in canada.

Oh gotcha! you applied inland. Well, at least you can stay with your partner while the process takes place. Plus I heard inland is not taking as long as it was before anymore.

Ugh, I'm tired of trying to pack my bag at 50lbs. It's 60 lbs so far. If it weren't for my mixer and food processor, I'd be okay lol

LOL are you trying to LOOK like a visitor? If so, I'd ditch the kitchen stuff...plus, when they scan your bags, they will be seen. Not by the border officer, but wondering if it could flag you, potentially? Best to be safe than sorry, IMHO. :)

Awe! Thank you girlie. I think I'll have to leave the food processor. I am just trying to drop some stuff off :-X
I figure that everytime I go visit, I'll drop some clothes and shoes and shoes and shoes and shoes, LOL.
I can't afford to go and stay with my hubby yet. I'll keep working here and I'll save all I can. I think that I could probably stay for a few months after March.

Received an attachment from New Delhi VO (file name is "AOR First Name Last Name") which requests me to submit passport, landing fee (if not already submitted) and police clearance certificates (if not already submitted).

Is this a PPR?

Got the same here! Our application already has the PCC and PR fee receipt! But the doc says

"Request for your passport(s) at this time is not a guarantee of visa issuance. Passports are requested so that we can hold them on your file and issue your visas as soon as possible after all requirements have been met".

Can we assume it is PPR? Also is it advisable to send another PCC and Receipt copy? The request says submit it, if not already submitted. But anyways we have another copy of original PCC and receipt is a soft copy, so can be produced another one.

What would you do?

Just sending a copy of PCC is sufficient. Just mention that the originals were already submitted.

Congratulations! Your Delhi office is so awesome!
