I am Canadian National, Came July 2012 on visit visa in Saudi Arabia to get married Submit my husband sponsorship File on Oct 02, 2012

Mississauga recieved my husband file on Oct 05
They send letter ur file has been transfer to Abu Dhabi For further question or document submission contact Abu Dhabi.

Anyone have case in Abu Dhabi plz let me know how long they will take? I heard 24 month 17 months Some people said 7 months :'(

I don't think so but you can try joining to some other threads here. I used to search tool and I found this one.

I'm doing some online shopping. I'm soooooooooooo bored. I was feeling a little under the weather today and I stayed home most of the day.

Me too still waiting. We are almost the one left. Others who sent earlier might have their approvals but are not active here.
 
ecas was actually changed to "decision made" today, it was indicated that they sent a letter last nov.5, my husband has yet to receive that though. it was also indicated that medical results have been received.

Might be worth giving CIC a call to check how and where letter sent to. Many of us, myself included are experiencing problems with incorrect addresses. but sounds like good news :)

My husband has been trying to call cic since monday but no luck. He cant seem to get a live representative, high volume of calls.
 
I used to have to sit there and dial back about 5 times before I actually got thru to a live person
 
My husband has been trying to call the whole day, but of no luck. I guess we'll just wait for that letter. Hopefully, it's a good news.

Depending on where husband is in Canada - but call centre is open 7am-7pm Ontario time - they say 8-4 on website - we have always had much more luck getting through either very first thing of end of day...hope this helps :)
