YAAAAYY!!! I got an approval to MY email just now!! So I don't have to worry anymore where the letter went to!
Now fingers crossed for my dear Warsaw to process it fast and without problems!

Thank you guys! I wouldn't care so much for this letter (coz my partner called and was told we got approved a few days ago) but we're in Quebec so now have to run to apply to Quebec's Immigration office here as well. And I need the approval letter for that. ;D

AND as I'm going to Poland in Saturday, my partner would have to deal with it by himself which would take more time as he works a lot.

So you can imagine how relieved I feel having this letter today.

Good luck with the CSQ! We're about halfway (2 weeks) through the wait for it, which I guess is supposed to be about 20 working days - hoping for speedy approval for all of us!

Thanks! From what I've seen Warsaw's VO gives AORs as well and it takes around 2 weeks. I hope we will get one as well, always one more paper to show at the airport on my way back to Montreal in December.

I hope it's true that it's a formality. I have no connection to Quebec (I'm the sponsor), but that's where we want to go. I'm one of the ones who got Canadian citizenship (through my Canadian-born father, retroactive to birth) when the citizenship law changed in 2009. So CSQ application makes me nervous because I've got no connection to Quebec at all. But on the other hand, the reason we want to go to Quebec is because we want our English-speaking kids to go to French schools so they can become bilingual in French, and Quebec really seems to like people who want to speak French, and that's exactly us (both my wife and I have decent, though rusty, French). We'll find out in two weeks I guess.

I just looked at my ecas and it says decision made under sponsorship application status.
BUT THEN I looked under Permanent Residence status for my husband it says medical received ??

Yes Canada receives the medicals now and updates the ECAS
