Stage 2 through NDVO by the sound of it...good luck for speedy processing for the remainder. Are you logging in with sponsor UCI or application number?elixir said:Hi All,

Whats the next stage ???
Thanks for info....oh lordy watching paint dry would be more fun than e-cas updates ;DIvanP said:It was at least 4-5 days after we received the AOR email that we were able to get any status at all online, and it was at least a week after my approval as a sponsor that our online status said "decision made" for the sponsorship application and "application received" and "medical results have been received" under the sponsorship application.
I think it's generally the case that if you're getting communications by email, they are likely to arrive well before you see any changes online.

After reading this forum for a while I became paranoid with all the small details that can cause the app being returned or delayed. :-\lunas said:Ohhh you have nothing to worry about! I do :-\
LOL you are actually going through the documents? I had such a headache with those I don't want to see them again lolRyathe said:After reading this forum for a while I became paranoid with all the small details that can cause the app being returned or delayed. :-\
My partner is divorced so I'm worried if the translation for the divorce papers we provided is going to be enough. The original one had freaking more that 10 pages (don't remember exactly now) so after asking around we chose one page that was actually the statement of divorce and translated only that. Otherwise it'd cost us over $400 with a cheap translator!!
Just now I've been going through the docs we've sent. LOL - more stressful to read it now than before sending, that's for sure. :-\
And I've noticed that the copy of his divorce paper doesn't have notary's stamp certifying that it's in accordance with the original! :-X ...I think my heart attack is close.... :-\
Try logging in with application number and applicant details - some people report more detailed information.elixir said:Hi Claire,
i log in thru Client ID...never tried logging any other way..i guess m already in second phase then...yippieeee
Lol yeah...stress levels go up for sure once you know they actually have opened it - if I had a $ for evry time I have obsessed over small details...Ryathe said:I've tried to log into the system and finally something changed! - my partner/sponsor has this weird msg to click somethnig that we know we shouldn't click and I have the msg "Application Received" *hands shaking from excitement*~~~ oh my oh my oh my so they've opened the file. :-\
Oh I hope they will approve it without problems~~ ???
Still no official email or anything from CIC. :'(
Hubby called cic again today - still no decision - he at least got them to check that they had correct e-mail address for him and hopefully something by end of week!!!! He asked if there was a specific issue, all they said was no decision made and that if there were queries preventing approval they would e-mail for clarification.....I live in hope!!lunas said:LOL you are actually going through the documents? I also had to pay lots of money for some tran$lation$.
I am just trying to be patient as my hubby won't make any more phone calls anytime soon.
I don't think the lack of translations would make a difference. You did all you could and you sent something. But then again, you can expect anything from CIC. I have a good feeling you are going to be okay.
I know! I don't want to see these docs anymore either but as I'm going to Poland for a month next week, I wanted to make sure there won't be any surprises when I'm gone. I was the one filling all the docs and my partner wouldn't know much if they asked him about additional docs or corrections. : Hehe I feel like a sponsor here with all the work I had to do. ;Dlunas said:LOL you are actually going through the documents? This is how e-cas looks for the sponsor when e-case first goes live - assume you are logging in with sponsor uci and details? Try logging in with application number and applicant details, may give you a bit more. It is 'normal' to only see you name (sponsor) and removal link for the first few days. DO NOT check the box and submit or you will lose the ability to check on-line - most people report a link to view status of application in a few days - however bear in mind that CIC state that they usually update e-cas once a week on a Tuesday....hope this helpsDan_from_Surrey said:Ok, this may seem like a stupid question, but...... I have to ask anyways.....
I am trying to log in using my UCI number from my first stage approval to check the status of the application (no, I don't really expect any update yet, but I did want to see what status check part of CIC's website looked like)
So I log in, no problem, and I come to a page that asks....
"Please remove the ability for me or anyone else to view the status of my application and address information on this Web site.
Note: Once you withdraw your consent, your application status and address information will no longer be available on the Internet. Learn about other ways of receiving information about the processing and status of your application and updating your address information by contacting us."
This same page has a radio box, with the above red text, and a "submit" and a "logout" button. Well maybe this is just a badly worded paragraph, but... I DO want to have the ability to view the status of my application, if I didn't want the ability to view my application, I would bother logging in.
Anways, now with the above, you can not just skip this step (unless I have missed something) but I don't want to remove my ability to check our application either. So I thought I would check here first, and see what others might have done at this same page.
Does this page actually let you through to see your status, or does it remove you from the system? ???
That's what i am seeing and encountering right now also . Maybe we can check the next days again hahaclaire_09 said:This is how e-cas looks for the sponsor when e-case first goes live - assume you are logging in with sponsor uci and details?
