Morning fellow September applicants. For the first time today I can log onto e-cas using my sponsors uci and application number for me. Hubby called cic yesterday and they said no decision made about sponsor approval. As it has ended up on e-cas and they have created the application number should I take this as a positive step that approval is imminent? We checked the box to say return application less the £75 processing fee if sponsor not approved so would they have started to process my bit if sponsor approval was going to be denied? Probably reading too much into this, but any insight appreciated

after entering your info on ecas it will go to the page it will show you mailing address and the status as recived with and undeline. just click the application recived and the next page will show you the stage its at.

There is still no update for me. In my case, I have a doubt whether the DMP submitted medical reports or not, as she forgot to collect a photo CD from us. They told everyone to bring a Cd (in addition to the photographs) and collected from all of them except us. How long does NDVO take before they update 'medical received'? Should I contact DMP to verify whether they submitted the medicals or not?

I "think" thats normal until Ottawa or your Visa office starts working on your file.

Sorry no idea on NDVO processing times - check out the thread for that I guess. Should give you some idea of medical arrival time.

I think we are reading too much into it. But you and me can at least login into ecas and if yours is straightforward they are just taking their time.

I can log in with sponsor uci, applicant uci and application number - how about you? all is says though is application received.

Positive thinking for a good news day for us both eh

It was at least 4-5 days after we received the AOR email that we were able to get any status at all online, and it was at least a week after my approval as a sponsor that our online status said "decision made" for the sponsorship application and "application received" and "medical results have been received" under the sponsorship application.

I think it's generally the case that if you're getting communications by email, they are likely to arrive well before you see any changes online.
