Hi all...landing went ok, got SIN number, applied for health cover, just waiting on PR cards now!! Drove to the States and came back though Niagara and made a day of it. Border officer was lovely - talked me through what I needed to do now, SIN number etc. So now to the task of finding...

Mine went 'In Process' on the Friday, address changed on the Wednesday, DM on the Thursday and the COPR was received in the post in the UK on the Thursday..hope that helps!

Planning to flagpole next weekend...never thought I would hear myself say that!! Probably need to make a trip back to UK before my PR card is likely to come through do you guys think that is likely to cause me any issues? I guess I will have a copy of COPR?

Against the odds COPR was delivered today to family members address in the UK :o She read it to me...seems to say standard stuff....but 1 sentence was not valid for travel - assume this means still need a passport?

I almost don't believe it but.....Decision Made!!! This whole process makes you a gibbering wreck and so wish they would say good / bad decision but as they have changed my address to Canada I live in hope!! Am I safe to crack open a beer?? Well it is only 9.30 in the morning here so might...

Probably running ahead of myself here but as a UK passport holder do I need ESTA visa to cross to USA by land from Canada? Thanks in advance.

Quick update from me..logged onto e-cas this morning and.......IN PROCESS!! Never thought I would be so excited - 6 long months to get into process - fingers crossed wont be too much longer, but not building my hopes up. Was going to e-mail this morning to change my address but think I'll...

Thanks Sweden....I did e-mail them last week saying its nearly 60 days since their request for additional docs and could they confirm it has been received and matched to my file to enable them to process.....but nothing. I'll try an address change and see if that gets somebody to at least look...

Hi fellow September applicants :) Great to see lots of you getting through the process, I'm still hanging on in here - hopefully not too much longer - had to supply some extra documents which they have had for a month. Good luck to you all still waiting.

Hi...don't check back here too often at the moment as I desperately trying to not check e-cas 47 times a day!! Been 6 months for me since sponsor approval and feels like 6 years!! Supplied the additional doc's they requested regarding my daughter a month ago and nothing!! Feel your pain...

Hi fellow September applicants!! Little while since I've had anything to update but great to see so many of you moving through the process :) I've had a request for additional documents for my daughter today so at least I know London has my file...fingers crossed it wont be too long!!
