i agree 100% with you for 58 days. But as you know no employer will give you a vacation time for more than 30 days, i will take my chances for 30 days and then i will depend on my relative there for follow up and receive the PR card for me. i know a lot of people have done the same just to record the landing.

Hi

i have been following different posts on the forum and currently people are getting pr up to 62 days from landing, so 58 days is not a confirmation that u will receive pr.

thanks

30 days as a period that most likly to recevie your PR card while you there, and according to the new regulation you should stay for 2 years only out of 5 years(2008 reglutions) , you state that you already sent them RPRF, if they requested the same that means they will send the PPR soon (within 2 months maximum), otherwise the process will take around 4-9 months
ALL THE BEST DEAR

Plz read the "Residence in Canada" section of below link,

Dear Sir,

I have received my Canada visa and landing documents & I am planning to give my landing (with family) in the month of coming July 2013. The flights I am getting from Riyadh are all connected via London to US (Washington DC, New York, and Chicago) and then US to Toronto.

I am holding Pakistani passports; do I need to obtain visas during my transits in US states heading towards Toronto?

Thank you in advance for clarifying this point.

Regards,

How it come??!! please ask flight agent. How did they issue tickets without knowing or hearing about this topic.
Please again be sure about this. I know that you need a visa during transit if you waiting for a long period until follow the next flight. Some airport like Dubai you have to issue a visa if you are waiting more than 24 hours for Arabs and 12 hours for non-Arabs.

I have sent my PP to LVO on Feb 4, how long it takes to received back PP, do they send PP by courier or normal mail?

If you are planning to go by road u need the visa if you are not transferring the airport you dont need the visa. Even now on Pakistani Passport if you have PR card for Canada you can not travel to US without Visa
