Hi Folks,

Did any of you submitted translated and attested copy of IQAMAs.
If yes, please tell me the process to get the same ?

If no, is it required or not ?

Thanks
Rabia

So basically I go to any translation shops and get the IQAMA's translated (for me and family members)
Does it also need to be attested by somebody (like ministry of external affairs or Country Consulate?)

I am in Jeddah

I didn't submit a copy of my iqama, I only attached a copy of the passport page that has the residency permit. They only need a proof of your legal residency, whether it's the iqama or any other equivilent document.

The residence permit visa on passport has the limited validity arround two months if that visa was valid in your case than it should be fine otherwise how are going to prrove that your residence permit is valid without submitting the Iqama copies.

I dont think think so but there is no harm in doing the attestation if its not very difficult but I think translation with the licenced certificate of the translator should be fine.

I did not provide iqama translation. I just include copy of it along with entry visa (even expired) & passport copy.
Pls read the CIC requirements, only copies of entry visa + passport are required.
My status now is "IN PROCESS" and waiting for medical.

cheers,

Hi guys, I got my AOR after submission of documents in April 2010 and have been waiting for the medical test documents. Can anyone let me know how long it took you guys to get a reply. London visa office takes around 16 months as per CIC website. Is it correct or they take longer.?

Hello to all Saudi Arabia Applicants,

I received email from Manila VO that my MR sent last July 14 to my mailing address but VO did not put my P.O. BOX NUMBER on my mailing address.

Do you think it will reach me?

I put my company complete mailing address, PO Box and Post Code number when I submit my application.

Hope to hearing from you guys.

Regards,
horace

hi no need translatation of iqama just submit photocopy of iqama, i did it and it accepted by immigration

@rabia_rk,

I submitted my iqama copy with attested english translation, as one of the seniors here emphasised a lot on it and his argument was pretty logical.Though guide tells only to submit visa copies but in case of saudi arabia, visas validity is usually limited to 3 months probably, hence submitting an iqama helps VO in determining our resident status in saudia. If you are in riyadh, i can guide you a place from where all can be done within no time.

Hello Everyone,

I am from Pakistan working in Riyadh as a IT Consultant in STC !!!

Please check my timeline, I have not submitted my police certificate from KSA...

Upon success I dont know how will I take my passport from my Employer (as you all know the restrictions) and send it to Canada, please share your experiances how to go about it.

Regards,

I have not sent any kind of proof of my KSA residency, I received my 2nd AOR, is that a problem ?

Can I send them if they ask again further documents..

Regards,

Usually, you need to surrender your Iqama in order to get your passport. You can give many excuses to get your passport, such as it's required by your embassy to update your information, or you have to issue a new one, etc.

So don't worry about it now, you will find a way to get it by the time the VO request for it.

Hi everyone, I Have all my application forms ready as per the checklist together with all the required supporting documents. I want to ask if there is a sequence of arranging all the forms and documents inside the envelope. Although I followed the order of the checklist and made it as the cover page. Please advise.

In addition to this, I am currently in Saudi Arabia, and confused which Canadian Visa Office to apply for federal skilled worker.

Many Thanks.;
