Medical will be counted from your first medical date of 10-12-2013 and Visa expiry date for all your family members will be very close to 10-12-2014 in case you choose to submit your passports for Visa stamping now. Also you must land in Canada on or before the Visa expiry date on passport. Act fast.

Otherwise you will have to write to LVO and it is likely that you will have to do remedicals to extend your Visa expiry date.

Can SABB Confirm if my DD in cashed or not? Did CIC approached HSBC Bank Canada? Can they provide me this details.

Technically, yes they can confirm whether the Dr has been encashed or not but will they give this information to you when you ask for it is another question given the generally poor customer service in Saudi banks. Do not worry you will get an acknoledgemet from cic in a few weeks. Cheers

Dear Seniors,

I need help and guidance regarding the PCC from Pakistan. As I live in Saudi Arabia since my childhood, so I have only lived in Pakistan back in year 2000 for more than 6 months. I was 18 then. But Pakistani Police are creating fuss, they say only blood relation can take the PCC where as I have no blood relation in Pak as we are all Saudi based, then when thy agreed they want a letter from Higher official and stamped, I have sent though and also sent the email copy which I rcvd from LVO. Now its sat- sunday, lets see what will they do on monday. I am concerned if they still didnt issue, then what options do I have? Can I apply thru Pakistani embassy in Riyadh? Please help if any one can.

Sorry to know that you are facing problems in getting PCC from Pakistan. You should apply through embassy as this is the only option other than going to Pakistan personally. Also as a last resort, yu can submit copies of embassy receipts for fee etc to LVO showing that you have made all the efforts to obtain PCC from Pakistan but as you live out of country it is not possible for you to do anything more. Hopefully they should accept your plea for waiver. Cheers

Did anyone undergone Re-medicals after getting letter from CIC for visa stamping?

I just got email for CIC that the office is ready to issue my visa so i have to submit my passport within 30 days.
The problem is that my medical is going to expire before this 30 days.
So I am planing send email to CIC and inform them that i would like to undergo Re-medical in order to get maximum visa duration.

Did any one performed Re-Medical before the stamping of visa?

Hello to all members,

I am in a great confusion since the "decision is made" on my application and i also got email on 17-11-2014 in which CIC asked me to submit all family passports for visa stamping.

The problem starts with my medical expiry date.

Got medical request on 05-11-2013
Medical done 10-12-2013 but kept hold x-ray of my wife due to the pregnancy.
X-ray done after baby birth on 09-06-2014
New born medical done on 18-09-2014
Now i have to submit the passports with in 30 days of the letter which i received on 17-11-2014 till 17-12-2014
Technically my medical will expire with in these date range that is 10-12-2014
Now my question is will the medical be counted from the first date 10-12-2013 or after the x-ray that was on 09-16-2014
I am in great dilemma now please anybody advice me what to do in this situation?
should i submit the passport or should i write an email to CIC for the medical expiry date confirmation

If you will submit your passport to CHC Riyadh via VFS, you will get the visa in 4-6 days max.
If Islamabad or Abu Dhabi, I guess it will take longer.

If it is Riyadh CHC, then say you will get the visa by end of this week if you submit tomorrow. If you can go for landing before 10th Dec 2014, then submit your passports. Otherwise contact LVO and explain the situation, I read somewhere that you will get a new medical form with a new IME number. Then you will do re-medical and wait for a new passport request email from LVO.

Hello Dear friends,

Regarding payment the fees of FSW application , of course the beneficiary is the receiver general for canada , but do we have to provide the addrees when issuing the DD , I mean in the bank form i made the benificiary address the same mailing address of the category under which i'm applying .. is that correct ?

Then there is no point of asking LVO to extend the deadline of passport submission because your medicals will be expired anyway.
I guess you should write to LVO and explain the situation, I guess that they will ask for re-medical. If not then it is very good.
