So true,
I'm among one of those who failed to upload the diploma and got rejected coldly

Sorry about the refusal. Did you re-apply?

However, the post you have quoted is from June 2015. I suppose things have changed over time.

1. Last time I left my home country for Canada was Dec 1st, 2013 and since then I've never left Canada to any destinations. My PCC is dated on Dec 4th, 2013. Is that Okay?
2. Last time my wife left for Canada was Dec 15th, 2015 and since then she's never left Canada. Her PCC is dated Dec 14th, 2015. Is that Okay?
3.Canada doesn't have diplomatic relationship with my country. Since my country doesn't have embassy here, so how can she get PCC while she's in Canada? Anf if she goes back to our home country to get one, again the PCC will be dated before she leaves our home country

Yes, this will work.

I would strongly recommend to use a PCC that was issued AFTER her last departure. This one day might be overlooked but IMO, it is not worth running the risk.

Not sure about this. Does your country allow a representative/agent to receive the PCC on your behalf?

Hi Raj,
Thanks for the responses.
I think so. Just called the interests section of my country in US and was told that issuing the PCC may take up to 8 months.

guys anybody ever had or heard of getting rejected based on work experience ?

Question is what is start date should one use for the job :
should it be the actual start date ? in my case 5 JAN 2015
should this be when their PGWP started ? 10 April 2015

t4 , pay slips , NOA and such (not mandatory but will help VO make a right decision) and won't complicate things

Correct but one November applicant sushsub received a request to submit IELTS TRF post e-APR submission.

I never mentioned applicants got rejected for not uploading IELTS TRF. Its just a good to have, that's all.

Yes, I am aware that the IRCC website mentions that you do not have to submit ECA report - however, you could do some searching on the forum and there was at least one claim that their application was refused because of missing ECA. IRCC is sometimes unpredictable - You see, for instance, back in mid 2015, the medical team at IRCC made some mistakes and (erroneously) rejected a few applicants whose medical test type was EDE <<though all the tests required for a PR medical exam -> 501, 502, 707 and 712 were all done>> (If I can recall correctly, one of the members who was affected by this was Yelena). This was later rectified - The point being, given the unpredictable nature of IRCC (sometimes), it is better to be safe than sorry.

I have a foreign degree that is not in English or French. If I upload the ECA report along with the degree paper, do I still need to submit a translation for it?

Yeh.

Hi Guys,

I have just received my PCC from UAE and I found that the occupation written in the PCC differs than the one in my work reference letter.
(I was working as a civil site engineer where the PCC indicates that my occupation was a site supervisor). Will my application be affected by this mismatch?

Please help.....

Guys, how long are the PCC valid for? Some say 6 months, others say 1 year?
I

I am expecting an ITA soon, hopefully; is it safe to apply for PCC now?

Was your PCC paper based? Or did you receive a PDF in your email? I ask because I got both and only one mentioned my occupation. I chose to upload the other.

Yes, it is paper based... I am afraid this paper mismatch would lead me to a misrepresentation case
