Reasons for Rejection

+1. This is very true. I also read a case a few months back in which the applicant claimed that his application was rejected because ECA was not uploaded. This might be an arbitrary rejection but it is not worth the risk. This is the reason why I strongly recommend that people upload their degree/diploma, ECA and IELTS in the Education section PDF.
Certainly it could not be a reason for rejection.. requirement regarding ECA is clearly defined in CIC.. pl refer below :-

•Where an ECA has been obtained, the applicant must provide the ECA reference number in their e-APR for online validation directly from the issuing organization. ◦A scanned copy of the ECA is not required when submitting the e-APR but may be requested by IRCC at a later date.

But yes, there is no harm to add copy of ECA as well.

Not seen it come up. People have been rejected for false ielts claims though!

For me, even though I checked the cert number ten times I will upload ielts in education in case I mixed up some letters. Also spent £155 for it so I want to prove it!!! :p

Correct but one November applicant sushsub received a request to submit IELTS TRF post e-APR submission.

I never mentioned applicants got rejected for not uploading IELTS TRF. Its just a good to have, that's all.

Yes, I am aware that the IRCC website mentions that you do not have to submit ECA report - however, you could do some searching on the forum and there was at least one claim that their application was refused because of missing ECA. IRCC is sometimes unpredictable - You see, for instance, back in mid 2015, the medical team at IRCC made some mistakes and (erroneously) rejected a few applicants whose medical test type was EDE <<though all the tests required for a PR medical exam -> 501, 502, 707 and 712 were all done>> (If I can recall correctly, one of the members who was affected by this was Yelena). This was later rectified - The point being, given the unpredictable nature of IRCC (sometimes), it is better to be safe than sorry.

Alright Guyz; I have been reading all threads for long and this has been very helpful. This is my first post and its going to be long.

My CRS score is 480( FSW; In canada) and I received ITA on Dec. 22 draw and busy gathering all documents.

Now, I have shown two work exp. from back home in same organization ( one part time and one full time>> Full time is little over 3 years and I'm getting points for that not for part time as it maxes out in 3 years)

While the profile was created by my Immi. consultant and he messed up and I messed up by being negligent. The NOC codes on the profile for both exp. is same and is terribly wrong. With all rejections that I have read; I'm pretty sure the VO can kill my application if he wants. I want to change my NOC to a more appropriate one( While searching for NOC's I think my part time exp. might fall under NOC C and full time can be under A or B).

I'm planning to decline Invitation, correct my profile and re enter pool ( Being @ 480 I'm pretty sure I will get an ITA in the next draw). I really think changing NOC now on exisiting ITA and adding LOE might not help that much.

Please advise options for me.
I will put this post on couple more threads so that more of you guyz can read this( sorry bout that).
Thank you all!!!!

Be conservative in your answer. Just say YES and explain. Countless people here in the forum had their immigration application rejected before. My friend got rejected 3 times before being accepted.
Why was he rejected 3 times?

Anybody got rejected for not being able to add pay slips or insurance when they asked for them?

I haven't heard any such case. Payslips are supporting documentation.

AFAIK, no one submits insurance details as a part of their application - it is NOT required IMO.

Dear Experts,

I recently noticed that my UAE police certificate has my wrong date of birth. my AOR was on 22nd May.

Do you think CIC would reject my application at such a late stage? is it advisable to raise a CSE and upload a new amended PCC? or wait for CIC to contact me and ask for a new one?

I am really worried that this could cause a rejection- its been 7.5 months so a rejection now would be reallyy depressing!

Thanks

Well, for this specific case, I would recommend that you raise a CSE and submit the amended PCC. Have you ordered GCMS notes yet?

Nope, I havent ordered GCMS notes..The fact that it takes a month to get the notes has made me reluctant to order them..

The problem is im not sure whether my visa office is Abu Dhabi (UAE) or Ottawa..so maybe i should raise 2 CSE, 1 for IRCC Canada and 1 for IRCC UAE..what do you think?

Thanks for your reply!

GCMS notes can give you a wealth of information, especially after waiting beyond the 6 month period. I strongly recommend that you order notes at the earliest.

You can try raising a CSE but do not expect a specific reply - the odds are that they are going to say that your file is under process and you will be contacted if further information is required or when a decision is made (which you already know). Notes are the way to go!

Okay then i will order the notes soon! thanks :)

I raised a CSE 2 weeks ago, and like you said, i received the standard reply.

As for my PCC problem, do you suggest that i wait until i receive my notes then send CIC my amended PCC? or do i just send 2 CSEs to Ottawa and Abu Dhabi with my new PCC?

Thanks
