To be honest, I don't know. Probably they have exact descriptions of different countries' PCCs. I think if they suspect it's a copy and not the original they might ask for a more detailed photo or scan. I'm just guessing...
I hope they do. Because I made copies of one of my PCCs and then scanned them because it was a translated and notarized paper and it would be a challenge to scan it as it was. The same with the passport because there were two of them + resident card.

Inquiry Regarding PCC:

I have 2 PCCs. 1 from my home country and other from United Arab Emirates (UAE)
1. From my birth to 2010 - I lived in my home country.
2. From 2010 to 2012 - I lived in UAE. (UAE Pcc does not show any duration of stay)
During these 2 years, I have visited my home country frequently (6 times, total stay around 4 months)
3. From Dec 2012 till date - Home country.

So When I asked my home country Police to include all these 6 entries and exits in the PCC (Because I was in my home country for this period), they said that there PCC format does not allow this many entries. And they mentioned the whole time (even the time I stayed in UAE) in their PCC.

So now I am really worried about this situation. Do you think it can create a problem? Or it is not a big issue?
Plus I am thinking of writing explanation letter regarding the situation. Is it Ok?

Dear hb_rashidy,

Dont worry, Pakistan's PCC have the standard format if issued in Punjab.

even i got 3 PCC one at my hometown address covering the period since birth to till the day PCC was issued, and 1 for the periods and places where i lived for jobs, in RWP and Islamabad.

So i guess its ok.

The issue is that they have also covered the time that I was in Dubai. Because I have visited Pakistan many times during this stay.

Dear Friends,
According to forum topic I found that we are discussing and sharing a lot of other stuff with each other. Its not bad but we must also keep focusing on possible reasons of rejection before application as well as during the processing time. I start creating a list of reported reasons of rejections you can add more reasons in it or just send me new reasons in inbox to create a useful database.

1. Job not specified as full time and permanent employment
2. Failure to upload ECA (even though it does not ask for it on the upload page)
3. Passport scan missing or incomplete.
4. Missing Proof of Education.
5. Missing original PCC.
6. Incorrect NOC
7. Duties Mismatch
8. Submitting PCCs with specific addresses mentioned
9. Not providing "certified true" transcripts for Canadian degree/diploma
POF less than LICO

Original PCC is for English or French speaking countries, not the translated PCC s,
Incuding the orignal PCC is mandatory whether it's translated or not

What if the average balance is less than LICO but closing balance is above LICO ?
I believe they are just looking for big jumps. I'm hoping that they aren't going to argue over +/- $500.

Actually my brother gifted CAD 10,000 to me and we have notarized gift deed for that. I have remaining CAD 8,000 with my savings. I need POF as a single applicant. Bcos of this transfer my average and closing balance has huge variation. Do you this CIC will accept this.

As long as they can see you got all the money legitimately (gift feeds) etc.

Hello All,

I am an fsw outland applicant. Aor March 30th.bgc in progress since 16th August.
Since last 1 month I hve been constantly trying to follow up my vo ottawa.

Call centre said watever information we need we hve it and all seems fine and complete and it's a matter if time they pick up your file and review...

I dropped 2 emails in last 2 weeks to Ottawa and received the following response... They seemed bit irritated... Can anyone share there experience or views on what exactly this means. Thanks in advance

Dear applicant,

Thank you for your e-mail. Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for a review by an officer. While we process applications as expeditiously as possible, each application is unique and we are unable to guarantee a specific time frame for its completion. Point 8 makes me feel worried. In my country police certificate automatically comes with your current/last legal address, but the information in the certificate is not address or time specific at all. There is a central department that holds the criminal information of the whole country and it goes back in time to forever.

What do you think? Should I be worried or raise a CSE explaining my country's practice?

I'm a CEC inland applicant with October 26th e-APR. Do you think this check is already done? When do they finish R10 completeness?

Thanks

I added that point because I have seen a lot of rejections based on this reason. Indian PCCs issued by the local police contains address in it. The problem comes in when you have stayed at many addresses in a country (mentioned in the address history) and the PCC just mentions the last one. This happened to Indian applicants at least (and some Pakistani applicants as well, if I recall correctly).
