Really? What makes you say that? To be clear of the situation, he received ITA for FSW, accepted and submitted application with FSW.

May be CIC gets really nice and transfer every thing to CEC (I doubt they can do that since there would be files / forms generated based upon the info he filled) and the system would not have asked for all details needed to validate CEC.

I never expect CIC to go that much out of the way. They would just prefer to refuse and expect the applicant to reapply. It is not in the ITA stage, it is an application submitted a while ago.

I am selected under FSW but my proof of funds are not met under fsw category.. can i put a statement of funds showing more than 12000$ or should i withdraw the file and do it all over again?

I read somewhere if you meat different categories and you failed in a criteria for one category (ex: POF for FSW) and they assess this criteria to the next category that you are eligible for.

Did you have CEC met in your EE profile?

That would be amazing, if its the case. I never read that or heard any where. If you could find a reference which actually says something like this, or if this happened to a person, it would be really useful here, specially for this applicant - and surely to many others too.

Let me try to look where I did read it, check this thread regarding POF

Please give a reference.. because i really dont know what to do. I dont want my file to be rejected as i can show the money putting more money jn the account if thats the case.. i am eligible for CEC as well but i dont know what to do.. i have very less time as my open work permit is also expiring so once rejected after few months i cant reapply as wont have time

Well withdrawing is certainly what you shouldn't be doing. Like I said before, get funds into your account and submit it via case specific inquiry. That's is the best I can think of.

If what minamina108 said above is true, it would get you through any way. If not, then probably they might consider you having provided funds latter. It is far simpler than to change an entire application type.

Raise a CSE, upload your pay stubs. What they want to know is if you have enough money for one year! Which you have because you have a job! I think that would suffice. Also ask your question here >> http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/thank-you-asivad-anac-t309073.3840.html

Hey Varinder,

Don't worry brother. You are deserve to be qualify for CEC. However you have received ITA for FSW category.
Now you already paid fees and won't to rejected because of lack of POF criteria for FSW category. The best thing for my point of view talk to CIC people as you already in Canada. It will be much faster response then getting from Case specific Enquiry. They will give you better answer for this.
CIC number : 1888-242-2100
Call them earlier 9:00 to 10:00 AM

Having a job without LMIA doesn't address that for sure. If that's the case, any one who applied via FSW and working here but not an lmia job would use it.

Cic doesnt give any suggestion even if we call them..

I can withdraw the file and wait for another draw.. but if i get rejected due to insufficient funds then i cant even reapply as have less time for work permit left..

Ok go with withdraw your profile , it's safer. Now once you withdraw profile in order to qualify only for CEC, you have to select something specific option in your profile like you can show proof of fund like less than 10000 if you wish to. I did same thing before I was qualify for both FSW and CEC, but i want to qualify only for CEC , so I had shown 3000 $ as a proof of fund and select some option I forgot which one, that makes me to qualify for only CEC. Please check your profile and see only qualify for CEC.
