No Idea - that's a tough call. Generally when CIC puts misleading info at two official places - I am afraid it turns out to be the lesser of the two.valsanail said:Hey guys I have come across a definition about the "Primary Occupation" in FAQ about EE that freaked me out. It says I am quoting: "Your primary occupation means the job you have experience in (within the last five years) and want to base your immigration application on, if you are invited to apply."
So, here's the case. My experience is based on two NOC codes the first one is from 2005-2011 and the second one is from 2013 up to date. So, when I created my EE profile I chose the first NOC occcupation as primary because of its duration (2005-2011) to gain more points but obviously it does not fit into the last five years except for the end of it. So will this cause to a rejection? I have never seen this requirement before because everywhere including the Federal Skilled Worker it said within last 10 years. I am so confused please advise.
This is what I have seen with other scenarios e.g. CIC says submit history since the age of 18 or last ten years which ever is recent. However, almost every one who submitted last 10 (and was older than 28) usually received Schedule A's to submit details. Hence some people concluded they should always submit since the age of 18 no matter how old you are.
You can only wait and see... I am sorry but there is no other way to tell.
Though i would say FAQ is less of a formal place than the official FSW requirements page. But you should research more detailed specs of FSW requirements. If you don't find this 5 year thing any where your case might fly.
