Unfortunately no, every application is processed differently.

kinda figured ! The silliness and randomness of doubts is indeed directly proportional to the time passed after AOR :p
Thanks

Here is my timeline:
Profile Created.... 10 June 2015
Ontario PT Interest Letter... 11 June
AOR (Ack of Receipt)... 6 Aug
Ontario PT Nomination Letter... 24 Sept
ITA ... 23 Oct (declined)
ITA... 27 Nov
Upfront Medical... 9 Jan 2016
Application submitted.. 25 Jan 2016
Application rejected... 1 Feb 2016

Reason written on the rejection letter is that the PCC submitted is not acceptable and it does not include all the addresses mentioned on the address history although i submitted the PCC for all the cities i have lived.
Application fee is refundable, as the same is also mentioned in the rejection letter.
Hi,
My PR application is rejected due to same reason, but in my case i didn't provided the PCCs of all the locations where i have lived in past 10 years.
now, i got nomination, will apply again after ITA, i will provide PCCs for all the location, like you.
But, i am not sure whether it can be succeed again, as you already provided all locations PCCs got rejected.'

So, its state of confusion.

I am gathering the reference letters. They seem ok and in line with my chosen NOC (in terms of the duties / responsibilities). I am wondering if anybody has had any issues with CIC saying - wrong NOC code and rejecting the application? I mean we are all doing our best to find the best NOC here, but rarely it is 1 to 1 match. For instance I am a lawyer by profession, some of my positions were called junior lawyer, legal officer but in fact I would not provide any legal advice, but I was an anti-corruption and antifraud consultant (hence I chose NOC 1122 instead of any paralegal/legal NOC).
Thanks for your input.
Same situation with me. But I've read somewhere in this forum that for FSW the NOC is not so crucial. CIC more appreciates NOC when it is about CEC. Thus, if your foreign experience does not perfectly match any NOC, this should not be a problem, unless your reference letter meets CIC requirements. Seniors, please correct me if I'm wrong.

If the PCC is time/geographic (address specific) bound. Then CIC is checking whether it covers all the addresses mentioned in the address history of your application.

If your are from india. Try to get a PCC from PSK.

Else make sure your PCC covers all the addresses (even if you have lived in different addresses in the same city) you've lived since your 18th bday and also it matches with the address history :)

All the best :)

The right choice of NOC is very important. Recent rejections due to incorrect NOC prove this statement. You can check the posts several pages above to find more detailed information.

Thanks for the reply. But is it true for FSW as well?

I am a CEC applicant and received my OINP. I have applied for PR but do not have a job. Can that be a reason for rejection? I have just applied yesterday but trying to understand how it works

No, not at all. As long as you have the minimum required work experience to be eligible for EE, you are good to apply.

Doesn't matter. Having a job only gets you extra points in Express entry based system. CEC program itself (if you have had enough experience to qualify initially) has no requirement of job for getting PR.

Express entry just added a priority system for selection on top of FSW, CEC etc. It did not modify the original requirements of CEC in the first place.

So whether you applied via EE or without it - if you applied through CEC and had proven 1 year experience to qualify, it doesn't matter if you have a job now or not.

Though I am kind of curious- since Jan 2015, there is no other option to apply for CEC without EE. I would have understood if you applied earlier and haven't been processed completely yet. So what makes you exist in the old system

Good luck.

I am planning to have the PCCs of locations where i stayed in past 10 years, (mainly 2 locations), however, since the age of 18th, it becomes 17 years, then there would be 4 locations. so i would require 4 PCCs.

Pls suggest whether the 2 PCCs would be enough or i must obtain 4 :(
