Hi friends,
I have received following mail from CIC:
"Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your MyCIC account and check your application status and messages for more information."
What does it mean?
I'm also not able to check the application status in online tool.

Please suggest as I had applied under FSW2014 & my file reached on Dec 7, 2014.

Thanks & Regards

Send the originals by courier. Your VO is asking for originals.

Thank you.

Considering you have already received PPR means that you have enough points without having to add your would-be spouse's points. Therefore she won't have to take language test and get her credentials verified. But she will have to go through background check and medicals. Based on what I have learnt from seniors, it normally takes 3-4 months from the time you add your spouse to the time you receive your visa.

Hello my friend,

I am more or less on the same timeline as yours with same NOC code. Can you please detail the call you recieved??

Hello Friends

I got PR stamped on my Passport's.
Please suggest how shall i plan the below situation.

I live and work in New Jersey, U.S (Although my visa office was also NDVO, i came here after submitting my file last July).
I want to keep visiting Canada to appear for all the Interviews lined up for me, until i got a decent job offer in hand.

I believe the PR card will arrive in 30-35 days, so is it Mandatory to be in Canada till I don't get the PR card in hand or can it be delivered to some of my friends address and he can send it back to me via Fedex courier.

Also can i show my U.S bank statements at the time of my first entry to Toronto or it has to be in Canadian Dollars only (I mean CAD DD/Cash/TC).

Thanks in advance
Atul

I agree with Zmaqsood for the scan copy part. I was in similar situation and I have just sent the PCC scan copy to NDVO.

As you have not received AOR it means your file is probably still with NDVO and it makes sense to let them decide where they want the original to be sent. Even if your file is transferred to other VO at the very least they will let you know about it by reply mail.

Thanks for your kind advice I finally sent these scanned copies to CIC NDVO.

Hope for the best.

Dear all,

Yesterday I received the PPR email but the funny thing is that I am from Armenia but they want me to submit our passports to the visa office in New Delhi and the ECAS status has not changed yet.

Good news, many congrats!

Passports cannot be couriered to India , you have to seek for a different option from CIC, write to them (I mean unless you have plan to travel to India and stay there till you got them back).
