Hi, see answers below;
1. If you wear glasses, take along, there wont be a thorough eye test they will examine just by looking at eyes. If you don't wear glasses, they might take a simple vision test. No complications in this so chill.
2. You will receive an acknowledgement from Hospital regarding your medicals, you send those in originals to the visa office along with RPRF receipt and PCC

Guys,

i am planning for a short landing for a week may be in November due to some issues.

but i am not sure how to go about it and whether there would be any problem with the immigration officer upon landing.

i will book a round trip for this purpose and give a frens address for the PR card to be delivered in toronto who can post it back to India so that i will have it with me when i travel again to canada.

But how do the immigration officer react?

please reply if u know any one who has already landed in a similar fashion.

It seems just yesterday when I decided to make my Canadian dream come true. I just want to thank everyone here especially people who took their time to answer my sometimes, insipid questions. My whole application is DIY so I'm really thankful that this kind of forum exists. I hope we all continue to help each other in one way or another. The real journey starts on the job hunting phase, anyway LOL.

I'm already here in Ontario and we're enjoying a non-scorching hot summer (well to my Filipino standards anyway) and everyone is wearing shorts but me, haha!

I second can2174 opinion on this matter. The reason being that i personally forwarded my missing pcc and some other documents without even asked by visa office and it eventually helped in speedy processing of my case.

Here is my take on what u shud do. Scan ur pcc and if u havent received AOR it probably means ur file is with NDVO so send the scan copies via email to NDVO along with ur application details, and reason why u r sending these pcc. U will get to know ur visa office as well as there is no harm in trying

I agree with Zmaqsood for the scan copy part. I was in similar situation and I have just sent the PCC scan copy to NDVO.

As you have not received AOR it means your file is probably still with NDVO and it makes sense to let them decide where they want the original to be sent. Even if your file is transferred to other VO at the very least they will let you know about it by reply mail.

Hello Friends,
I hope everyone is excited and nervous in immigration process.
Please check my timelines for any processing related queries.

I have landed on 1st July, 2015 and i must say that it is beautiful country with friendly people.
Now you can find more asians especially indians in every city of Canada so you may feel like at home.

But now comes bitter part, it is not so easy to get professional jobs. I am trying very hard to get even survival jobs but still no signs of them.
I just want to make you aware about the next phase but not to scare you. Some friends gets jobs earlier than that.
Here my intention for this post is to prepare yourself for 2-3 months after landing to find survival jobs and then 2-3 months for professional job.
I wish good luck for who are in process of immigration.

I landed here on 21/6/15 and got survival job after one month. For job in my profession , the employers generally ask for canadian experience /canadian education.I feel I will have to go in for a short course from canadian university.

Q:-
My company can transfer me to Montreal,Quebec region.
1-Can I work there in queuebec ?

2-Do I require to land in Toronto first and then move to Quebec?

3-Can I move from Toronto to Quebec with in 2-3 days only ?

4-In that case which address shud I provide while immigrating to receive PR card ?

5-How to apply for medical in this case ?

Any other complications, which I am not aware of?

Please suggest shud I accept this offer ?
