Hi friends,
I have received following mail from CIC:
"Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your MyCIC account and check your application status and messages for more information."
What does it mean?
I'm also not able to check the application status in online tool.

Please suggest as I had applied under FSW2014 & my file reached on Dec 7, 2014.

Its for Express Entry application, You've to log in to check what msg - usually nothing-just a system automatic , You wont be able to check online status without ur UCI number, which u will get only after receiving PER mail :-X from CIC

HELLO GUYs! Hope u can help me... What did u do with the appendix A Sent to u by the embassy , it was in pdf format, did u guys just printed it and filled it up by hand? Thank u! Does receivig a PPR means u are 100% approved? What does it mean in the letter that says "conditional admissibility base on the visa officer " blah blah blah.... Thanks! God bless us all. My timelines :-
1)We received your application for permanent residence on December 4, 2014.
2)We started processing your application on May 12, 2015.
3)Medical results have been received. ( 27 May 2015)
4)A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision. (4th Aug 2015)

I submitted my passport recently at VFS Hyderabad, the very next day I received a sms that my passport is reached Bangalore office. However it should reach Delhi office per online tracking info. Did any one has experienced this situation? how long it generally take to receive our passport (which were submitted from Hyd) with stamping.

Did she tell u that she was calling from NDVO?

Atleast that tells u that ur file ir being worked upon.... so thats a good sign. Rest they'll do their inquiries so cant do anything about that!!!! Keep ur fingers crossed friend.. Best of Luck and keep us updated!!!

Hello.

Unfortunately, I got cervical spine surgery 6 years ago and artificial discs is inside my cervical spine.The surgery was successful, and I have no problem / no treatment now. Of course I'm working in full time job so far after that surgery.

By the way, just to be sure, I submitted a medical certificate(which proves that my physical condition has been fully recovered and no more treatment is required now) to the doctor when I got medical examination 2 months ago.
(At the medical examination, except my surgery history, there was not any problem.)

After medical examination, I got third line update(medical results have been received) a month ago, and waiting for the next line update..


My question is...

Is there any possibility that CIC can make an issue of my surgery history or request another/additional medical examination in spite of the submission of medical certificate?

Is this the reason why the fourth line 'decision made' has not been updated yet? Does the medical certificate make thier decision process longer?

Dear Forum members, today I am celebrating 1 Long Year of my application submitted. Now with each passing day ray of hope diminishing. SLU on 30 mar 2015. No update after that. no verification. Fed up with this long wait. people with my time line have already landed. CIC is sleeping with my file.

Yes not to worry, I also received the same...ur Email however would say sent to Delhi and in one/two days the website would also show 'Submitted to Delhi'..so no worries

Regarding getting ur PP back, the timeline varies....generally u can assume 5-10 working days...(mine took a little longer, so can't predict exactly)...

No, 3rd line update means Medicals have been cleared with no issues ....so expect PPR any day now (can take 30-90 days from 3rd line update apart from some rare cases)..good luck!!

Hello Friends

I got PR stamped on my Passport's.
Please suggest how shall i plan the below situation.

I live and work in New Jersey, U.S (Although my visa office was also NDVO, i came here after submitting my file last July).
I want to keep visiting Canada to appear for all the Interviews lined up for me, until i got a decent job offer in hand.

I believe the PR card will arrive in 30-35 days, so is it Mandatory to be in Canada till I don't get the PR card in hand or can it be delivered to some of my friends address and he can send it back to me via Fedex courier.


Also can i show my U.S bank statements at the time of my first entry to Toronto or it has to be in Canadian Dollars only (I mean CAD DD/Cash/TC).

Yes to both....as in u can give friend's address and he can forward you....And yes, US bank statement would be accepted (hope it's a large bank)..just carry a printout of the equivalent CAD conversion rate from the Bank of Canada website on that day to be on the safe side....Good luck!!

I received an auto email, in that it is mentioned as below

Dear XXXXXXX, Visa application, tracking ID No. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX– has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office , Bangalore on XX/XX/XXXX. An auto e-mail will be generated to inform you when the application is returned and is available for collection at the application Centre, Hyderabad. Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.
