Hello experts,

I have applied in the Express entry system.
I have got a rejection of Schengen visa recently.
The reason was a business visa was applied and the embassy was not convinced for the business reason for that type of Visa.
Is that an issue for Canada FSW immigration ?

Not an issue at all, I know people rejected visa in Canada, stayed illegally in Canada, they came back to their country, waited for one year penalty, then applied to fswp and now they are living as residents. If a person doesn't have criminality in their past, immigration issues are not a problem.

Do you think we should raise one more request for GCMS notes, will that help.

Yes, i already raised for one more GCMS notes request. I should get the report in next three weeks...i have raised several CSE's and mailed too but no response from NDVO. Except GCMS i dont think there is any other way to know whats happeining on our file. Sent you a PM too please check.

I'm 12th May'14 applicant submitted MR/RPRF/PCC on 18th Nov'14, but still waiting for DM/PPR.

I raised a GCMS notes - it says Security & Criminality Check - NOT STARTED

Its 5 month still above activities are pending. What could be the reason, should I call it an end my dreams.

Please share your expert opinions

I think you should concentrate more on the notes section of your GCMS notes. Your case note,the latest one will give an idea of the status of your application as well as give an hint if there re concerns regarding your application.

I would specifically like to know if an FD from Indian is sufficient as a proof?
