No. Along with points for Intl students, IRCC is planning to allot points if you have a job/job offer. Currently without LMIA you won't get extra points. The LMIA requirement will be waived off for CEC.

So say I have 471 points, assuming nothing else changes, me currently being employed will grant me more points? Do you have a source for that?

That "CIC guy" was just talking nonsense. I now place my hope on Emperor Palpatine Mr.McCallum.

Now there are two things that we need to now asap:

• Mid year report
• New immigration plan

I hope we will have these two in September.

It is long past mid-year now, when is this "mid year" report going to come...??? By the time it comes, it will be too outdated...

Guys please stop getting excited about September, the new quarter starts in October (I.e. Jan-March, April-June, July-Sept, Oct-Dec)... It was one of you that said on one of these threads that the cut-off scores are set high or low for a quarter.

If the cutoff score is set for a quarter, then why did the scores suddenly rise in May in the middle of a quarter/halfway through a quarter?

The only reason cutoff is high is CIC wants to keep invites low. Why ? Only they know.

Could be because they are still overloaded with pending applications and want to clear the backlog before inviting another huge pool of new applications

I have been express entry pool since March 16.. have scored 456 on CRS, single, will complete 34 yrs in nov 16 - so 5 points are gona get deducted further, education - Masters from United States in Construction Management, 6 yrs of experience in india and US .. Now, seeing the trends of cut offs scores recently, I have lost all hope of getting Canadian PR. Shld I opt for Australia PR or wait for any change in immigration policies for Canada? If Ontario starts issuing PTs in November, do i really stand a chance of getting it? Kindly advice. Thanks in advance.

NBPNP has stopped accepting since 29th july .. regarding PEI PNP - are they still accepting Pnps? Can I be eligible for it? I apologize for asking this silly question.
