No, the big difference between that guy and McCallum is the fall of cutoff score.Lucky213 said:In the video and McCallum said that scores will go down by fall
and fall means september Hope everything will get better for us in the next draw
Mr.McCallum only promises he will award more points and ease up requirements for int'l students , no mention that score will drop whatsoever
WHILE the "CIC guy" claimed the cut off score will drop to 400.
Like I said before, how cut off score will drop when you have thousands of CEC applicants suddenly have 20 or 30 more points added to their profile?
Read this comment:
So in summary, things will only good for CEC applicants, not FSWs. Cut off score might go back to 450+ when ITAs are back to 1500, but more CEC applicants got invited since they have more points.karenv said:It seems that the below prediction was right today. A quote from a website:
"
It is expected that Canadian Govt. will impose some new regulations and implement changes towards the calculations of CRS scores, where students with Canadian education will be allotted additional points which will add up to their CRS scores. The scores may be in range of 5-20 depending upon the education completed. This in turn will raise the CRS bar towards the higher level of 500. Our sources indicate that if these changes are implemented CRS may well remain above the level of 500 till the middle of year 2017 unless the immigration targets are changed and Canada issues higher number of nominations for each upcoming draw this year until May 2017.
