Hey Mike, thanks, I hope so too. As for EE, yes if you can, do update it, or it will go on as continued employment. As for another way for PR, I don't think there is, other than PNP which for Ontario has yet to open, but yeah even there, POF is important. And that is my single biggest issue too. I am simply not going to be able to show POF of 12000 CAD. And since we cannot get a loan of that amount to show, that is not an option for me at all. Even if I think of getting a job in India, it is a tall order to make anywhere near that amount in a very short period of time which is less than 5 months.Mike-D said:Sorry to hear about you having to head back raven00090. I may have to as well in a couple of months. I hope us CEC applicants who've been hard done by the recent increase in scores have a turn of luck by the end of the year at least.
I wanted to ask if you made any changes to your EE profile? I was wondering since my PGWP expired on Aug 4 and I've applied for an open work permit ext. I did stop working as of Aug 4 to be on the safe side, would i need to update my EE profile with that info?
And as a CEC applicant without a valid job to show that I can sustain myself in the country now, is there another way to apply for PR without having to show POF? or showing POF the only option without a valid job?
In case anyone reads this and wonders why after having work here I can't do that, that's because I basically cleaned my entire bank account here to pay away student loans entirely. So your situation might be different and in case you can afford to show that amount of money that does wholly belong to you, more power to you.
