I totally feel your situation, but the amount of year you have spent in Canada doesn't have anything to do with you getting a PR. Have you maxed out your IELTS yet?omar_ahmed21 said::'( This is really frustrating. I can't get the PR in Canada after I have spent more than 7 years. I have graduated in Canada with 2 years of work experience.
I don't know what to do now :-\!! My home country "Yemen" in war and no flights allowed to entry, I was thinking to apply as a refugee or H&C. However, these two options might take 33-44 months "processing time" and I can't afford to stop my only income and wait for an answer from CIC.
I wish if the old system back where you can apply as long as you gain your first year of work experience.
Thanks,
It was the right move to ditch the old "floodgate" system. No one wants that.
Thanks. I, too, have been in Canada for 7 years. Four years as a student, and two years so far as a worker. An ITA before April 2017 would be very nice.rebelhero said:@Alexios07
As far as I remember your CRS score was around 468. With new guidelines, your score might have increased and there is high probability of you getting an ITA soon. Good luck!
I used to closely follow your posts between July-October regarding new rules, upcoming draws etc but then finally I got ITA on 19th October. Hope to get PR soon!
