It won't happen. It takes at least 2 weeks (3 weeks in my case) for the citizenship certificate to arrive in the mail. (if you are attending your ceremony online)

My local MP is well-known for his unresponsiveness, although I still tried to contact them. The funny thing is, an MP who isn't from my constituency actually replied me and offered to contact my own unresponsive/unreliable MP. I know who I wouldn't vote for in the next federal election :)

I applied by mail one month before you, they have just returned the citizenship certificate to me last week, and my credit card was charge around the same time as you. I have yet to receive my passport.

From reading all these recent comments, it appeared that Citizenship Certificate/old passport would be returned to us separately via Canada Post. And the actual New Passport would be delivered by Courier. What is the "Courier" that IRCC use? Purolator?

Their website said "9 weeks + mailing time" in early June 2022. Then I saw they said "10 weeks+ Mailing time" in late June. It's now "13 weeks" ? They might as well say "all passport application shall be processed within 52 weeks".
