Thank you very much.

I'm nativeEnglish, but in the listening I had a mild panic attack and just stopped listening... so 7.5
Reading was 8 (not sure what I missed there)
Writing was 8 (bad speller)
Speaking g was 9.

I just need my listening to go up to an 8 and I go to 461 points. :D

Ouuu! Then no need to worry, and don't panic! Just deep breathing.

I feel ielts listening is more of a listening ability test rather than "English language listening test"

Thanks. The test was taken 5 days after my lmia was denied and 1 week before we left Canada. I hadn't slept for days and was devastated (Jan 2015). I was not in a good place then and for the last 2 years I lived in NZ and travelled SEA. Now back in the UK, on solid wages and ready to charge at this head on.

After we had to leave Canada i had 6 months of therapy. We are going back... they don't have a choice ;)

Good one:D

It's more of a nerves test than any other.. I was literally exhausted after that.

By the end I was like "he said something about glass. Definitely glass. Wait, stop talking!".

The test doesn't make much sense anyway. The last monologue is hard to follow simply because NO ONE will talk at you like that. Maybe in a play, but day to day there are pauses or spots for you to ask questions.

Hmmmm, maybe not a carpet. But definitely some kind of champagne.

Oh you're a woman, then it's even worse. They should really think about their behaviour in a last couple of years. I think it's fear of commitment, don't you?

Hahaha.... There should be a score or something based on how dedicated we are to be a canadian. Factors may include how many sleepless night we have spent, how many times we have appeared for ielts, can we name all canadian provinces or not.. Etc etc :P

I think it should be based on your maple syrup consumption. I had some on pancakes this morning. Fairly certain I bleed it now.
