Hi Everyone,

I have submitted my PR application under Express Entry (CEC) back in Oct 2024. My overall score under CRS is 490. The current cutoff in the CEC draw is more than 500. I am still waiting for an ITA and I know that it's a number's game in the long run, but I was giving some thoughts on how to improve my chances. So, I just wanted to know your thoughts on is there anything I can do in the meantime to boost my probabilty in qualifying in the draws?

Max English scores and learn French.

Learn French to a CLB7 level.

The other thing that might theoretically help is to see if you can bump up your educational level - if you just hold a single bachelors degree, then try getting a Masters online from your home country, that may bump you up the needed ten points. (If you hold a Masters already or at least two bachelors degrees then to get the required points bump you'd need to get a PhD.)
