Thanks! I see that there are 8,202 candidates in the CRS score range 451-600. The cutoff of the latest round was 462 with 3,600 invitations issued. So does it mean that newer profiles with the same CRS score will have priority?

Also, I am planning to apply with the CRS score of 487 and I wonder what are my chances to be invited and how quick?
Can anyone share their experience?

Are you asking about tie breakers? If so, older profiles will be given preference.

487 means you're guaranteed an ITA in the upcoming draw whenever it is. Please look at older results on the site.

Congratulations. I am in the same situation Masters (Mechanical Engineering) and Work Experience (Software - IT) from US, still exploring courses. I see few Universities waiving off IELTS since the Graduate degree is from one of their listed countries and US is one of them. So does University of Geulph has a waiver towards IELTS. If required do they Accept General version too? Or Still Academic is required?

They didn't make IELTS mandatory for me, but I went ahead and submitted it anyway, at the time, I had an average overall band of 7 and it wasn't an issue. I submitted the General Training one

Without spouse is a good option to increase CRS but CIC is very strict when reason seems not valid to them , I have read in this site only, they are very strict for such cases

If your spouse is already in Canada on another visa and you are applying as non accompanying - YES you may be rejected.

If your family is outside, then it is safe to apply.

Hi everyone, quick question on updating CIC profiles with new language test results.

I've updated mine in the portal but my CRS score hasn't updated to reflect the change. Is this something that should happen immediately or does this take time?

Thank you for your help!

So does that mean if the cut-off was 462 everyone that had a score 462 or higher received an invitation?

Question, how long does it take to update the overall CRS score on my profile when i update some information (ex. IELTS score)?
i am asking because i updated my Wife's IELTS (she didn't have any english test before) and submitted it but the CRS Overall point remain the same.
Does anyone can help?

Thanks
