Hi guys, hear me out---
I think there is a simple logic as to why cut offs go high or low. Its not that the immigration authorities are purposely doing it or its related to elections or any such reason.

I believe the logic is pretty simple.
They want the top 3600 or 3350 people. Now if that makes cut off 466 or 460 then it completely makes sense. Their target is set they want best 3600 every time a draw happens. Now as more and more highly qualified are applying the cream layer is getting thicker. Top 3600 ppl are taking cut off higher.

Let me know if you agree.

My crs is 450 . Applied for eca from ices hopefully i will get report in 2 months than my crs will be 457 . But i am very much concerned about 457 also . What you guys think can i get and ita in this year my ielts score will expire in dec 2020 and i will loose 5 points for age in March 2020 . What should i do ?

Can I apply for more than one like IQAS & CES and use the one with a more preferred result?

Don't loose hope I am waiting for Wife ECA and then my points will be 458. So Lets be hopeful that our time will come one day.

Just thought of sharing a long story - I had a score of 441 on June 5 2018 and as the draw was cancelled Score remained high and on Aug 8th the cut off was 440 but Alas by birthday decreased my score to 436. I used to follow Ray of Hope draws 89. 90 , 91 etc fiercely and was super sad. Then I did my masters here in the USA from Aug 2018- Aug 2019 and now I will do a fresh WES report adding my masters and spouse. Keep trying guys and never lose hope. I felt terrible last year this time due to my age and cut off but kept working toward my masters. Similarly if my masters evaluation is delayed or unfavorable or if express entry is cancelled or changed after election, I would appy for Australia or work in India. Just saying always be happy and try hard never look back ! Just a long rant after $1 Mai Tais at apple bees

Finally got my PR last month as COVID hit lol. Fingers crossed . If anyone is reading this, dont waste all your young years just trying for one thing.

If anyone is still around , to continue my story - I finally got ITA in Dec 2019 and pr in mar 2022 . Landed on Aug 22 . Sponsored my spouse on May 23 and that’s approved on Oct 23
