Yes. I've already informed them and I am waiting to receive their reply regarding my documents that they'd be needing. How ever I am unable to find information on the processing time specifically for candidates like me who've been selected through express entry.

My work experience matches NOC 2173. On canada website it is mentioned:

Employment requirements

• A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering or mathematics or completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.
• A master's or doctoral degree in a related discipline may be required.
• Licensing by a provincial or territorial association of professional engineers is required to approve engineering drawings and reports and to practise as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
• Engineers are eligible for registration following graduation from an accredited educational program, three or four years of supervised work experience in engineering, and passing a professional practice examination.
• Experience as a computer programmer is usually required.

If I submit my profile under 2173, do I need some kind of license? And pass a professional practice exam?

I suppose any one of these need to be fulfilled.

I gave ielts 2 to 3 times, my score was L-8.5/R-8.5/S-7.5/W-6.5 every time I gave ielts. I am pretty sure that my essays were not that weak to receive 6.5 in writing.

I think IDP people are doing this on purpose. Anyways I have applied for EOR, let’s see what happens.

Most biased organization I have ever seen.I had my friend who went for revaluation and still score did not change. Same 6.5. He scored 7.5 with BC.
I have taken IELTS 13 times. 6 times in US, 7 times in India. Among those 7 times 2 times with IDP. I was scoring 7.5 to 8 in US in writing which reduced to 6.5 with BC and 6 with IDP in India. Speaking 7.5 to 8 with BC and 6 with IDP. Worst organization. By the way on the 13th attempt I got 7 in Vijayawada. Suggested my friends brother to Vijayawada but looks like even their evaluation practices have changed since I gave it May this Year. Suggestion - if you have money and time try to give it from different Country - Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam compared to India.

You could try BC then..

BC is no different, Brother. Based on my experience, I think both of them are same. They do the same with most of the candidates.
In last two years, I gave ielts six times both in BC and IDP. Out of those six attempts, I got 7 in writing four times. Whenever, I got 7 in writing, they screwed me in speaking by giving me 6.5. The funny thing is that I have scored 7.5 in speaking 3 times. these are strategies to lure us in to trap.
the more you give the exam, the higher the revenue for them.
I will not give up, anyway. I will get what I want.

I can see that your scores are good except in writing where you need minimum 7. Given my experience, the writing section is the most technical part of the exam wherein the candidate is tested to their true terms of grammatical understanding. Listening and speaking english is very different than writing. I also struggled for some time to score in writing, but upon meticulous evaluation I realised that there is a set form of skeleton and rules that make your essay coherent without deviating from the topic. To cut short, I would suggest you to improvise your writing style, read as many good essays as you can, and apparently try to replicate them, which will help you mitigate your errors significantly. Its a gradual process, and takes time. And finally the most crucial of all, enhance your vocabulary to make your writing look more presentable.

Good morning/evening to you My express entry profile was submitted on Sep 17, 2019 and CRS score is 447. Still working on improving the score by re-attempting language tests (ITELS/Celpip). As per the latest update, as of Sep 12, Ontario has already sent 5200 nominations. With score 447 and NOC 2171), What are my chances of getting NOI from the Ontario?

My work permit is expiring early Apr'2020. Is it recommended to apply for work permit extension in parallel while waiting for ITA? PR process may not get completed by 10 Apr 2020 (even if I get ITA in dec '2019). What is your suggestion on applying for work extension in this case?

if you receive an ITA it doesn't matter if your work permit is expired or not your file will be processed just get a visa and dont work on your sin no. as it can impact your profile

From what I hear - the evaluation standards, especially writing are tough in IELTS when compared to TOEFL.

I gave the TOEFL CBT some years back and when I compare the test with IELTS, there was a remarkable difference in the difficulty levels in both.

An EOR may prove beneficial, good luck !
