Can someone explain that how the hell people are getting such a high score? Whats the main driving factor?

ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATED!! Australian PR fell through and now this.

Higher education + good language skills + work experience, of course!

Entered EE pool on the 14th of May with a score of 459 and I was sure that I would receive an ITA the very next day. Well, that didn't happen, and today we witnessed this 470 CRS fiasco due to 4 weeks delay in draw. With a birthday on 2nd of July I can't help; but worry if I'll receive an ITA by draw 120.

Same, entered late due to delayed ECA, birthday in July. Sitting on 460 :(

No hope for me untill i finish my 3+ work experience in October which will take me to 473 and then -5 in November for my Birthday. Maxed out on everything else with CLB 10 and Masters. This draw was crucial to see how much longer I have to wait...looks like 448 isn't gonna happen anytime soon.
@EnthuChap please keep on giving me the positive vibes cause I am surely losing it!

Don't worry dear...The score will come don eventually and u will have enough time to receive ITA by October :):)

As an inland applicant, I will need to object point 5. It's super hard to get an LMIA even if you got out of a Canadian school. You would need to be cream of the crop to be promised a LMIA from your employer. LMIA is a very transparent and tedious process which most companies usually avoid.
You need to check on the LMIA forum... friend.
People get their employers to apply for them and the stories of rejection is not common!
I agree with 5.
Regards

In March I told you guys that CRS will not go below 450 and at that time you guys told me that I am spreading negativity over here. Now what you guys want to say?? Instead of giving wrong hopes it’s better to tell truth.

I'm also trying for same to the best of my capabilities.. ITA or not at least I will have satisfaction that I tried everything..

  1. Waiting for ITA has really taken a toll on me..
  2. Wasted- 1.5 years
  3. Around 300 thousand INR including cheating consultant+ IELTS trials+ WES Chase+ transcripts and verification fees+ miscellaneous
  4. No life after marriage last year.. right from the next month we jumped into preparing IELTS with hectic work schedule.
  5. Family planning at pause.
  6. Increasing age and anxiety.
Now I literally have no hopes.. I'm shattered! No matter what I do I can't reach beyond 451 and 5 points less in August 2019. Turning suicidal! :(

Hey dear...Don't lose hope. Our ITA time will come eventually.

I hope your situation is not like me. See, I was studying in Australia and was unlucky enough that when I graduated in 2016, the Skillselect point system kept on increasing even until now so I had to leave Australia when my graduate visa expired. Now, Australia only issuing 500 invitation/month. Per month...that's too harsh and the cutoff score has been really high. Additionally, they don't show the score distribution in the pool so no one can really predict/estimate anything..

Maybe tht's why the EE pool is flooded with high score applicants because most of Australian PR aspirants too are turning to Canadian PR now because of uncertainty of Australian PR.

And here I am seeing the CRS cutoff keep on increasing as well..U can imagine the trauma of chasing the cut off score. However, I still have high hopes that CRS score will come on sooner or later.

So, cheer up...everything will be beautiful in its time. God bless.

This was an exceptional case... score would likely come down... i see 450 +/- a highly likely possibility by august if not july
Look at 2018 after every 5th draw there is a high deviation but then they normalize too.

Friends please share some tips for reading... as my main target would be reading this time

Hey, I sat for my first IELTS attempt in May with only 1month self training. I just kept on practising everyday and putting myself under exam time limit. I got 9 in reading. My trick was I read the question few time first to really understand what we should look for in the passage. Highlight the keyword in reading if possible, then just skim the text and look for keywords or the synonym in the text. And the good thing is that, especially for MCQs, the answers are in order, so if the first answer is found on paragraph one, the second answer will be on second paragraph and so on..so don't waste time going back to para 1 to look for second answer. That's how I did it.
