Reason for high CRS
1. inland Applicants
2. Computer based IELTS
3. Inland students get extra points for education
4. Unmarried people has good CRS
5. Easy LMIA for inlands

ThIs year CRS Will not come below 450 for sure .

folks, my spouse ECA is due on june 13. system doesn't allow advance date obviously.. by the time i will lose june 12 draw as well.... give me a solution for this,, if someone knows
Please wait until you get the soft copy of evaluation. There's no guarantee that IRCC will proceed with your application if they find out that there is a mismatch between the ECA number you have entered and the ECA number in his WES evaluation report.

It's better to be safe and wait for 14 days than being banned for 5 years.

As an inland applicant, I will need to object point 5. It's super hard to get an LMIA even if you got out of a Canadian school. You would need to be cream of the crop to be promised a LMIA from your employer. LMIA is a very transparent and tedious process which most companies usually avoid.

Computer based IELTS has virtually no marked advantage over PBT; the only discernable difference is in writing section for people accustomed to keyboards, but even here the candidate cannot score well if doesn't argue well on the topic or shows lack of imagination, my point being the same rules apply. Moreover, the listening module is finicky at best as you are supposed to listen, look at screen, control mouse with one hand while typing answers on the keyboard.

Today's cut off was indeed frightening for a moment but then again looking at trends and timelines, it was pretty much expected. Its good that such a high cut off was initiated this draw and now, the applications above 460 will more or less be very low, less than 1000 for the next draw.

Going by this trend, future draws will set a trend...a high cut off CRS followed by average cut off.

460 plus cut offs, followed by 450's....

Its just my analysis and may not hold good.

Any hopes for 457. Your advise is valuable
I would have said you would be in on the next draw (if it's in two weeks) but CIC is being highly unpredictable and the number of 460+ is increasing rapidly. But I hope it happens for you soon cause it is indeed a very good score.

Anything above 450 still has a good chance this year. This draw is an anomaly.
I agree with you.

Nothing has changed, only thing that has changed is increasing wait times for ITA's...

I still believe everyone who are in the pool before May 2019, and with scores above 451 will be able to get an ITA towards the end of the year.

maybe not even 455 ~

but this is ray of hope thread so i will say even 440 is possible this year
Just 1 draw has watered down the hopes of many. I see this draw as a one time thing and I hope that this 4 week draw was a one time thing as well.

If the frequency of draws is maintained, we will see CRS drop to 445 by September or October; since 6 to 8 draws later nearly 20000 - 25000 of these high scoring profiles will be popped from the stack; resulting in ITAs being issued to sub 440 CRS scores.

It’s easy to get LMIA. I am immigration consultant and I am telling you last year our office applied for 466 Lmia and 451 approved . And rejected once approved second time. It’s just hard to find employers but immigration Lawyer know those employers.

You just echoed my thoughts. I think it will be about 10-15 points less the next draw. There is still a chance the next few draws for those of us at 450.
