My hope for an NOI from Ontario has shattered. This time it was a "Targeted Draw" and looks like NOC 0124 related folks were targeted. Total 1079 NOIs issued on 31st May 2019.

Has anybody having NOC code other than Marketing/Advertising related also got NOI from Ontario on 31st May 2019? Please let me know your NOC code, if you have got it.

Mine is 2174 (Software Developer).

But I got the EOI because of french skills, not occupation.
They will surely deduct draws for the Human Capital Priorities Stream.

I have experience in 1123 and I hope it will fetch me an NOI. I would take it in a blink of I receive it ever. OINP is a secretive program.

last year a member of this forum got an noi from ontario at 441, he also got a regular invite. he decided to go with the regular invite and declined the noi from ontario. after a couple of months his application got denied because of an invalid pcc, he lost 5 points because of birthday and never got an invite again.
the 600 points from ontario will act as a buffer for such scenarios. so if you have 455 or below and get an noi take it.

No, once your application gets denied you need to enter the pool again.

Apr 2017 to till date: 2171
2011 to mar 2017: 2283
My noc is 2283, because in 2171 experience is less than 3 years,
What adjustments can I do?
How to figure out that which noc, they are going to pick?

Oh man, CRS cut-off is 439-469. What's wrong with Ontario!!!! Most of it's NOIs would be wasted as the candidates with 455+ are supposed to receive a direct ITA before they get 600 points through pnp nomination. I thought Ontario would learn from its previous mistake, jan 14 draw with cut-off 439-449, but it seems they don't want to learn. Most of the NOIs, 14 jan hcp draw, went into the garbage as many candidates got direct ita. I think, If an hcp draw happens, it should take place in Q4. Rest is upto Ontario.

We have to do some more research and maths to know about the exact possibility of an NOI from ON through HCP.

I feel, from deep inside, that our good time has started as nitin got an NOI and chances of a b2b draw. I am pretty sure that the cut-off would be in 440s, but the the thing which is unknown to many includin me is the TIME. Trust me buddy, the efforts we have put to receive an ITA would be paid off. We have been enough unlucky and our entry time to the express entry was no less than a nightmare. The process of receiving an ITA has taught us a lot and, indeed we are still learning.
