I have exactly the same issue. I applied for SIN at Service Canada office and its been a month. They referred my file to Immigration and IRCC is only answering Afghanistan related calls. I am clueless here!

Hi Gauri Yes Application number is the same in all. Say 'Yes' to Biometrics done for everyone18 and above in the application Say 'No' to privileged services, if you had not used it during Biometric submission. Attach 'Consent Form' and Courier Form for each applicant.
