So, things clear now...people who get a nomination through regular PNP streams will have to apply for PR via paper, the old way. Only nominations received under PNP express entry stream would be able to add those 600 p to their score and use express entry. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-how.asp

Currently there are several streams in AINP...all the categories expect skilled worker category requires you to have valid residential status in alberta through a work permit. If i am correct your only option ( skilled worker or semi skilled)is to find an employer who would offer you a job and apply for lmia( hectic process). But if you can find an employer and get lmia approved you are better off applying for permanent residency through Express entry.

all these mix ups are making hard to everybody including applicants and provinces. Good news is it is clearing up slowly. That may be one of the reasons AINP is not updating/giving any info in its website.

Hello all.
Will appreciate your advice on my case.

I have applied for AINP on July 02, 2014 under employer driven category.
AOR: July 29, 2014
File no: Sept 13, 2014.
NOC: 1311.

During this time I got promoted and salary hike from same employer. Now my NOC is 1111. So how can I inform AINP about this? There is no form on their website about change in NOC.
And most important, after NOC change will my file be processed under previous processing time or with the new one?

Have a great day.

Thanks

Well hard to say... How comes BC updated their website? My opinion is that they don't have the info about the quota for this year yet that is why it is still quiet....

Have you guys heard that Ontario Nominee Program was caught in fraud - they took bribes for nomination certificates... what a mess

Ontario is not ready with the express entry PNP either http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE.html EE confused everybody ... it will take a while until we can read some info...

Oh my god! seriously old method that means atleast 10-16 months more after getting nomination! thats roughly 3 yrs or even more for me. Gosh! I planned to stay in noc 6211 code because most of core companies need pr status to hire me. I was selected in 2 companies with good package and with all these delays I think I have to study again later

Well thats not 100% clear yet. CIC claims that we should be able to get 600 for nomination...I don't know whats going on right now. Looks like it's absolutely messed up at the moment and no one knows what is going on.
