Well quota number is not Alberta government's decision it is federal so if they have only 5500 available places and more than 10000 application received it is obvious they choose people who they really need.
Write a complain to officials instead calling people not responsible for some decision by "idiots". Some post here don't say much about "some" people here so, I wonder if they deserve nominations

Just wondering how he checked your status. I sent my application few weeks ago so I don't have a number yet but on a website I found that:

How can I check my application status?
Please check the AINP processing times page regularly for current processing times. The AINP does not respond to status enquiries.

I apply also for CEC and in that case I can check everything online.

They can check your status by typing in ur file number on their system( pretty straight forward) but they dont want u to call them for status update, that why they says in their website not to call them, jnstead check the website for processing time

I am sick of people who think they can say someone to go home or that they don't deserve smth. That is sick.

I think we all should calm down. I underrated that we r all stressed but arguing here is not going to help in any ways. And probably we should stap calling the AINP office too. Just let them work. I'm sure they r trying. Remember when they were working on the weekend before Christmas. I've been stressed for months now, can't relax for a second even when watching a movie with my friends, but it is what it is. I'm not saying to give up tho! It's Christmas Eve in my country. Marry Christmas to everyone

Rep: Officer have made a decision and will send you the response in mail
Me: Do you know if its approved?
Rep: I don't know that
Me: Alright then, Have a great day

A friend of mine told me that she got a call from AINP officer today asking for her T4, NOA and pay stubs. I told her are u kidding me that AINP is still working on November applicants. OMG!
