I guess they didn't put new application in these categories . These number that you are counting 4420 is all from old files not from new .

They put new application into these categories , Post-Graduate Worker Category number from 75 (January 22, 2016) to 120 (February 8, 2016) ... they should go back to high school !!

I think they gonna stay with 5500 nominee applications this year. Hoping that express entry rules for temporary foreign workers are getting easier in few weeks . Cheers

They are open to hearing the argument,” Ms. Clark said. “The most important component of it is the PNP [Provincial Nominee Program], which allows the province to decide which specific skills are being allowed into the province. It’s at about 5,500 now; we need it to be 9,000 because we need to skills match people who are going to become Canadian citizens.”

BC want 9000, doesn't mean they can get 9000 ! I know every year they want double number as same as Alberta !

I asked this question last week but no one helped me with that. Could you please answer it if you already know it. I got graduated from U of A and currently have postdoctoral fellowship offer (6 months contract). Do you think if postdoctoral fellowship is considered as a job to be eligible to apply under postgraduate student category?

I think you can apply but when AIPN verifies your application and your full-time job, you need to show that you are still working at the same job you put on your application. If your contract is not renewed, you need to inform AINP and you may need to apply again when you find another full-time job.

Thank you so much. My boss will renew my contract later and I guess I will stay with the same employer for at least a year. I really appreciate your response
