It means I'm not gonna get mine this year. Feb applicant will receive...? But definitely not me coz I'm April applicant!!!!

They don't process FIFO... they process according to category and need in Alberta. For example, there are people in SRS-PGWP category in this forum who got nominated after applying in Jan this year, whereas there are people in EDS from November still waiting...

Yes. You might get one in this year. I'm under EDS so I'm saying I won't get mine. Fingers crossed!!

yeah I applied for front desk...Applied feb 20 AOR 25 feb File nom Apr 7th....what about you ?

I just called them up and asked whether they have finished issuing the entire 5500 quota of certificates for this year. She said no, they still have more than 1000 to go.

i was thinking same thing that by may they issued about 2700 nominations so like 500 a month. and it has been 3 been months after tht so another 1500 nominations and they will last for about couple of months.
what is really surprising to me that not a single nomination for applications under employer driven who applied in 2014(and december 2013) is issued. atleast not on this forum. i guess theymust have received over 4000 applications between october and november since they are still processing those applications. i wonder how many applications they have recieved in 2014 so far. i have no idea how r they planning to deal with this huge load of applications.
I hope they wont throw us under the bus and say any applications after certain time will be return or something..

Last month I sent an email to Kyle Fawcett (Minister of Jobs, Skills, Training and Labour) and all MLA of Alberta Assembly. He answered me saying that they have almost 9,000 applications waiting for nomination and also that they receive about 250 new applications every week. So you can do the math...

I guess it means 9000 applications in line to be approved.. So They already have received twice as many applications than their maximum number of nominations for entire 2015..so half of ppl who applied this year may have to wait till 2016 just to get nomination...this is just crazy..

Just thinking, this may not be true as i know few ppl who applied in Jan, Mar got their nomination. I think these are the total or under process applications in their office till date. What say?
