Query Regarding Inland Sponsor Ship and OWP

Hi All,
My husband has valid multiple entry visitor visa for 10 years we are planning once he comes we will raise his Inland Sponsorship and OWP. But there is one issue, recently his sister's marriage is fixed and is in the month of december. Is it possible for him to travel back to India for 5 weeks and come back while his Inland processing is in INProgress. Since he hold a valid visitor visa , Is it ok to do the same? Will Canada allow? Will there impact on his application? Kindly help

Typically two or three weeks is fine. A month might be pushing it. Five weeks will most likely kill the process.

But due to COVID 2 weeks goes into quarantine hence we cannot afford going for 2-3 weeks....will IRCC understand this??

You can’t travel at the moment anyways. You are just asking for 2-3 weeks. You can travel for longer if CBSA allows it when tourism is possible again.

I will not be going for tourism need to go to home land for some wedding...right now flights there
