According to the settlement plan. It's been almost two months since I submitted my reply and I haven't heard from CIC yet. Strange.
Hoback, I hope you will receive Request for Passport soon...

I have a question: have you made the application from within Canada? and specifically, did you reside outside Quebec at the moment of application?
I am quite surprised to see that some of the members here have actually been asked to produce a Settlement Plan at the very final stage of the process....
Is there any format which we can reference? I have no idea how to write one and what they expect to be included (though I really hope that they won't ask me for such document---if it were required, I would not mind providing it in the beginning... but to be asked to send it after medical and RPRF... I cannot help but think CIC is quite inconsiderate ::))

Hello Hoback,

Did you actually submit a settlement plan?...If so...how detailed was it...like how many pages?

It seems the settlement plan is something that has very minimal guidelines ..although i know what to write about...i just don't know how detailed they want it to be and so i am lost as to how much information to put in!!

Let me know buddy!

I wrote an introductory letter followed by a few pages regarding the settlement plan along with all the ties I have with the province of Quebec. I'm a bit concerned because it's been so long and no answer.

Alright, let's see if anyone can help me with this...

We submitted my girlfriend's application without any police certificate at all (but with a letter explaining that it wasn't required) because she has lived in Canada since she turned 18 a couple of months after moving to Canada as a student. We still did the steps to get the FBI PCC and have now received it as of June. We're wondering if CIC will request it if they require it anyway? Or should we just submit it to them even if they didn't request it yet? If so, how do we submit it?

She has passed medicals and paid RPRF this month.

Please advise if you can help.

Thanks!

Actually no I did not. I added my spouse as a "non-accompanying" dependent right from the beginning. Since she was out of Canada until this March, CIC asked for her medicals and PCCz again since they expired before my application was finalized. Last communication with CIC was on 2nd May where they requested her medicals again. We submitted medicals on 5th May.
There has been silence from them since then :'(

If FBI PCC will not be expired soon, I would recommend to keep it with you as CIC may not need it. However, if the expiry is within 2-3 month I would say the best way to submit is to use case specific enquiry form that you used to send RFRP. Although it is just my opinion only. I used it to submit my documents for a permit application, i got a response in 10 days

Hi srm057,

Thank you so much for your response! Unfortunately I don't think I can send FBI PCC via Case Specific Enquiry since CIC usually requires the original to be sent via mail. The only thing I've received so far that indicates that they may need the PCC is the generic reminder email that included RPRF, PCC, and updated schedule A. I ignored that email as I didn't think I needed to send it, and even paid RPRF then via CSE and was still requested RPRF a few months later. I guess I'll wait until the formal PCC request comes in (if it does at all). We did sent a letter of explanation saying we didn't send any PCC because she turned 18 while in Canada when we sent the original application.

Same here, but if they do we will have the PCC at hand... I just don't know if we should send it now and where to send it if we should...

Anyone else had a similar experience or advice to give us?
