Hello everyone, How long does it typically take to receive an Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) after submitting a PR application? I submitted mine on July 3rd but haven't received the AOR yet.

No, Not Yet
I have almost the same stats for the federal stage. Still no medical exam request yet, This worries me, I am following the francophone groups on facebook and I see a lot of people getting their medical exam request 4-5 months after submission. But i also see some people getting it in just a few weeks. People say it depends on the complexy of your application but that's not always true. It just does not make sense to me.

Btw I saw that you also submitted imp application, Did you get your eCorp? thanks.

you will probably receive a P1 email within 1 month. When did you take your biometrics?

29/04/24: Online Application
14/06: AOR - Account linked - Police certificate requested for wife - Brazil
17/06: Biometrics completed
21/06: Received Police certificate
02/07: Police certificate requested for me - Ireland (I applied before receiving it because it was around 60 days to get it and I didn't want to wait)
03/07: Received Police certificate - Email with Pre-arrival Letter
04/07: Requested Medical Exam for both
05/07: Completed Medical Exam
11/07: Medical Exam Passed
05/08: P1 received and replied saying my wife will be out of Canada from X for Y days.
21/08: P2 received - only in my name.

....P2 of my wife - waiting
...EcoPR

Congratulations,

I have questions for you:
Did you get one email or two separate ones (P1)? When you replied, did you send the template with the answers at the same response email or in two different ones?

Thank you

I got 2 separate emails, around 2h difference between them. But I pasted twice the template in just one email. With the answers for me and for my wife, both with my email in the spot fot email.

Hello Everyone!
Sharing my timeline with you to also ask some questions and advice:
- Applied for CSQ in Spetember 14th 2023 (when we turned two years in montreal)
- Got denied in January 10th 2024 because my husband had 22 out of the 24months of work when we applied
- Applied for CSQ again in January 17th 2024 (my husband already had 26 months of work)
- Got CSQ approved in July 14th 2024
- Applied for PR in July 16th 2024 on the Permanent Residence Portal
(Sent police certificate from Mexico, our country of nationality, already)
- Today we havent received anything yet and in the portal appears as "Submitted"

I would like to know the following:
what are the next steps?
is it normal that it's been two months and we havent got anything yet, or maybe is it lost and we would need to reapply again?
Is there a phone number i can call to ask on updates or to make sure they got my application?
If we need to resubmit because it got lost, do we get a refund?

It's normal. It takes 2-3 months to get AOR, that is for IRCC to start working on your application

So you think we still have some weeks to wait?
Also do you know what would be the next step once we get a response? we want to be as ready as possible

Yes, you need to wait. IRCC will contact you when they require further information on your end and when they want you to do biometrics, medical exam etc. No need to worry now
