CAN ANY SENIORS SUGGEST ME

Hello, Mine is the same case as you; Nothing much to do than wait. I assume HK BIQ qould be looking at application from Dec-10 to Jan-11, so we should get some update in another 6-8 months. Best thing to do it to do your ACCA and enhance your French skills. Thanks, PKMCL

Hello guys, I'm new here :D. If somebody can help me please I would really appreciate it. I'm applying for CSQ for Quebec from London and submitted my application Last 7 August 2012. I submitted it to the management of economic immigration- international service in western europe, sub-sahran africa, maghreb.; its address was actually in Montreal. Based on their website, new application should send their application on this address, as Paris Office no longer accept applications. I haven't heard anything from them and don't have any file number, Is this a normal process? I'm worried as its almost 2 months and I haven't heard anything, no fee was deducted in my account as well. So I'm literally have no clue on whats going on.... Please HELP!!! any help will be greatly appreciated ;D

It seems we are in the same boat. According to the post my application was received August 8, 2012 in Montreal (I´m applying from the US) but I haven´t received anything from them. Nor they have deducted any fees from my CC account. Let me know if you hear anything from them as we have the same timeline

Hi Friends..

I am working in Montreal in a Software Company, I have completed one year of work in Montreal. I came to Montreal based on Intra-Company Transfer program and my work permit is valid for one more year.

1) am I eligible to apply with valid Job offer in Montreal?
2) In the QC Immig web site, I saw that the educational certificates should be certified by the University or Institution where it obtained from. notary certification of the true copies are valid to submit along with Application?

it will be really helpful if somebody can provide valuable information.

Thanks

I think you have to get the documents in sealed envelope from university and notory for all documents, (for notary it has be certified as true copy you can get it done in Montreal itself -from advocate but the cost might be heavy they charge per page)
also it you will have advantage applying from Quebec as waiting time is less and you already hold a job there.
since it's a intra-company transfer check if you can get a offer letter or job confirmation from your current or new employer as it will get you 10 points

Agreed, PEQ is the way to go...

If your AOT falls in group A or B do you get priority processing? Or what if you have a high level of French?

Hi Sarkes, If I understood the procedure right, then probably 6-8 months after a sucessful interview, I guess; I have been waiting for 18 months now; Hope things work out fast. Thanks.

hi,

This is my first post and I have 3 questions in regards to the Quebec Skilled Worker Program:

1. I graduated more then 5 years ago, i realize that i have to have 1 year of experience in the field. My question is does it have to be paid work or it could be internship? So does unpaid internship count? I have a lawyer say that is has to be only paid work but I saw that on one of the immigration websites that it could be unpaid internship as well.

2. I need to learn High Beginner Level French. Does any one have any recommendation which exam is the one to take and is the easiest to score (among several available)? Plus any recommendation in which program to enroll is to prepare the fastest to this exam? Also, if you do not mind where do I find out what score I should obtain that will equal to High Beginner Level?

Thanks,

Kai

CSQ INTERVIEW

HELP... does anyone know if the quebec selection interview mission dates are strictly followed. I say so because I had notice for interview on the 28th of June. On the revised interview mission dates the last one for this year is from the 11th of oct to the 26th. Am wondering why they have not csheduled me for interview. I was troubled and wondering if I should call them or just wait. Please help me if u have any idea

Does anyone know if it is possible to get another CSQ while the federal part of my QSW application is already in process?

What happened was, I already have a job offer in Quebec and I earned my CSQ with this job offer. Which means that I cannot quit my job until I get the PR. However, I have been in this job for way too long and the immense stress is really getting to my health, and I want to leave it soon. I don't know how long I have to wait.

I was thinking of applying for another CSQ under the PEQ, where it is not required to have a job offer when I receive the PR. The thing is -- the federal part of my application is already in process.

That sounds awfully complicated. May i ask since when are you waiting, meaning when did you apply for your csq? you should be almost done, and i'm sure, if you made it that far, you can make it a bit longer, mate :)

I'm/I was in the same situation, i applied for CSQ with my new job, but it turned out to be a nightmare, but i had already everything started. And if i would have applied for a new job, i would have also needed a Labour Market Opinion, after a new work permit.....etc....so, i had to sit and wait it out until everything is finished, I got my ppr last week, and i will change jobs in the next 8 weeks, after 2 awful years....

don't make it to complicated so close to the end, you're almost there! :)
