Hi friends

Can anyone tell me the job prospects in Quebec for a market research analyst. I have 6 years of experience in India in providing market intelligence, business development, primary research, secondary research etc.

Awaiting your response.

Hi there, I too am a market researcher, profession doesn't matter here that much (unlike Federal), your degree counts more

it is clear that i will not be called for interview in september. will there be interview dates in sept - december then? iv bn waiting 18 months in total, this is disgusting...
The delay in ur case is as a result of the M.Sc which u are yet to complete but which u stated in ur form. until u provide the said certificate, there really might not be much on the file. well i think it already is too late to expect an interview for sept cos a minimum of 6odays notice prio to the interview date will be required

Dear egrace62, STILLHOPE and quebec2011

I would like to ask about my french language proficiency test. What if i retook the test AFTER submitting the first result to the immigration office? knowing that if you take DELF another time You are not allowed to give DELF exam another time if you have already passed that level exam. Suppose if you give A1 and pass it with more than 50 marks overall and more than 5 marks in each module then AF will not permit you to give A1 exam again.

Thanks!

[blue] Hi kapil, I also checked with AF bombay and AF new delhi.
They dont take TEFaQ or TCFQ, they only takes TEF and TCF.
AF New delhi informed me that next test for TCF is 5th Oct 2011 and last date for registration is 15th Sept 2011.

The good thing about TCF/TEF is that they send the result directly to your visa office, so you are saving time here for receiving the result and sending it to VO, unlike with DELF/DALF test result.
But the hard part of this test for many candidates is the test fees: it is approx. Rs. 6000 to Rs. 8000 compared to just 700 or 1000 for DELF / DALF.

So if you want to take this test in october, register before deadline.

Bon Chance!

I also got the same reply today saying that my file was incomplete and I had to include: formulaire DCS (A-0520-AF) pour la conjointe complete et signe

I have already included a copy of the Application for Selection Certificate (one copy in English). There are no blank spaces. All the signatures are there.

No where on their website I read that we need to send two sets of the same form. Please confirm!

Thank you.

was anything else missing ? signatures / blanks to be marked 'not applicable' etc . .

@eGrace, quick question for you, where did you get your degree?

I emailed BIQ-Mexico and asked if my case qualified for priority processing and the replied saying - No. Because my degree was not issued in Canada.

I emailed them back and explained that my degree is in fact equivalent to a Quebec degree as per the guidelines listed on the Immigration Quebec website. I got both my MS and BS degrees from the US and because of ABET accreditation on the part of my university I can register as an engineer in Quebec with the Engineering Order as my school falls under the Washington Accord mutual agreement.

This is why I am curious to know where you got your degree. After emailing the BIQ and explaining this I got a reply on the same day that read that they would take my observations into consideration.
