Dear friends

I just wanted to confirm that before couple of months some Asian applicants got email that you need to provide B2 in 18 months time.And they were June and July 2011 applicants.
And one of them was from Bangladesh.

Those who are aware of their details requested to share as I am march 2011 applicant.

Regards

My guess is that if your application has been affected by the current changes to rules thereby resulted to reducing your points to qualify for selection, the embassy is requiring affected applicants to get b2 to acquire additional points, catch up the lost points and be able to qualify still. I think it is wrong to conclude that it is about 2011 applicants in particular, each individual, depending on his circumstances should know his current immigration status.

One thing that is evident from what is happening around, Quebec immigration is more focused on applicants who have lesser points or whose points had reduced due to priority changes...Either they reject them or ask them to submit b2. All other applicants will never hear from them, unless in a later date, their points reduce due to priority changes...
I am currently around 57 points and I am sure I will receive a letter in 2015 that I have lesser points than Threshold and will have to submit more proof, or complete B2...

Dear Swamik and Patina

My points is that the applications which i see are from May,June and July-2011 which i come across so what about the the earlier ones (that is before May-2011)because neither of them heard anything like B2 in 18 months or rejection or waiting for interview or CSQ...

So how is the order of processing is going on??

And what the earlier ones should consider for their applications???

i think this will help you understand my points

I just gave my opinion on how MICC handle the applications...

Hi finally they have encashed my payment on April 17th. Think they are issuing AOR for those who sent application by October :) :)

that is true, just few minutes back i had a call with immigration office. They look into database with my name. And told me that my file is complted. And within next few days they will encashed my DD and after that the AOR will be issued.

Working hard to achieve B2 French. :P

Yesterday I received my result for TCF average was B1. ;)

Being positive one step at a time. Counting down 13months left.

Felicitations. Sans doute, vous parlerez francaise tres bien avant 6 mois et peut etre vous n'auriez pas besoin de entrevue pour votre CSQ. Du courage.

After resending French test results with B2, do they restart verification of the file from the beginning or they continue where they left off before? Does it take less time than if a new file has been submitted? how long before receiving AOR letter? Results were sent in March 2014, file was originally sent in November 2012.

Hi,

You can get it attested by your own consulate here in dubai, we indians can get that done in consulate. Better sending a notarised copy than taking a chance.

Thanks for the replies but seems like divided info.
Hmmm
Im not living in the country of origin so I have to go to the embassy for certify as true.

The new measures apply to you if, by August 1, 2013, you received one of the following documents from the Ministère:

an acknowledgement confirming that your file has been opened and the fees received;
an acknowledgement as well as a letter asking you to provide missing documents or conforming documents in order to process your application.

If, on August 1, 2013, you were in one of the situations described below, it means that your file has already being processed. Therefore, the new measures do not apply to you.

You were convened to a selection interview that will take place in the next few weeks or months;
You received a letter entitled “Demande en attente d'entrevue de selection” (application pending a selection interview) informing you that the initial evaluation of your application is complete and that you will soon be convened to an interview;
You received a letter entitled “Demande en attente de decision” (application pending a decision) informing you that we will contact you once a decision has been made;
You received a letter entitled “Intention de refus” (intent to refuse the application), informing you that you must submit other documents or information that will allow us to continue to review your file;
You have already had a selection interview and your file has not been finalized.

Thank you, patina. It's very useful.
