Hi

Today only I sent my DD to montreal directly. May I know when I can expect my Interview. I am from India (working in singapore). I filled my application on sep 2012. return apr 2013, resend the new dd today only, expect to deliver this week. May I know when they will call for interview, cos my french language skill is very worst. just I have 1 point only (DELF listening 20/25) speaking 0 point. So again i joined the french class. I dont know whether I have enough time to improve. Please help this

yes even 6 months, contract, copy of visa
letter of experience and letter ur still in your job,
quebec knows that no taxes in gulf ;)

thanks..
but i went through my contract right now (mo most recent one since Jan 2013), and they have lots of clauses where they mention that the pension amount has been paid to us already as cash with our salary.. and if asked, I will need to show that I am subscribed in a full-time pension plan etc... (I have no idea about these things..since I just started earning a year_ ago and noone in UAE does any of this)...so maybe it may not be safe to show my contract, because I dont have a pension fund...(nobody in my office does!!but its part of the contract)
and further, there is a clause on "Social security" which states that the company will be paying a certain % extra that the employee can contribute towards their social security scheme...

I found something on the Indian income tax site that says that you need to be residing in India more than x amount of days per year to be considered a resident...otherwise income earned outside India isn't under the tax law...should I keep a copy of that, with a letter from my HR manager saying that UAE doesnt have income tax?

Jenalby..Can u share me the source from where did u read this information that if ur AOT is 16/12 ur application is in ur Priority..Because i have never gone through any such info. Your application is prioritize only when ur education or AOT is in List of Preferred Area of Training..16/12 points dont determine ur priority it is ur AOT / Education.

Umer, in my view ur friend will be given points for his TCFQ..and his review will be accepted because i have seen an other case for the person who apply for review and get interview call.. i.e. Angeleye..Other senior members of this forum can also share their response.

Sorry to bother you guys...
but i think this should be completed now:

ok so what I'm going to get is;
A letter from HR that my monthly income is legal...that income is not taxed in UAE
and also stating that I am a resident of UAE therefore not a resident of India...and then some proof from news and income tax act that Non-resident Indians do not get taxed for income earned outside India..
should be enough to convince the immigration officers?

Getting a letter from HR is must plus also include the number of hours u worked. Rest is good to go..

my friend, I applied though uae, and next week going for my interview, I send the required documents as I mentioned and taking same documents for interview.

its up to you

payslips highly required

Yes I can.....here is the proof for the priority processing

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/permanent-workers/official-immigration-application/selection-process/
please read this completely.....It is copy pasted from the above link
Reception of application

The Ministère checks if you can file an application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ – Québec Selection Certificate) in accordance with the rules in effect, if all the required documents are included in your application and if it is eligible for priority processing. Your application is eligible for priority processing if:

you or your spouse, if applicable, have received a job offer from a Québec employer, and it meets the MICC's validation conditions. Ask your future employer to consult the section Steps taken by the employer for hiring a permanent foreign worker;

or
you or your spouse, if applicable, hold a diploma, awarded by a teaching institution, in an area of training allowing you to get 12 or 16 points under the area of training criterion of the selection grid for skilled workers (see Liste des domaines de formation permettant d'obtenir 12 ou 16 points à la grille de sélection (PDF, 34 Kb)). The number of years of study required to obtain your diploma must be at least equal to the number of years required to obtain that diploma in Québec. Your diploma must have been awarded in the last five years. Failing that, you must have practised, on a full time basis and for at least one year in the last five years, a profession or trade directly related to that diploma. for at least one year in the last five years.
An acknowledgment of receipt is sent to you to confirm reception of a complete application and, if applicable, to indicate that your application will be prioritized for processing. Your file will be returned to you if your application cannot be considered.

Hope u understand...
