Hi Dadabigboy,

Your situation is somewhat similar to mine, married as well, no family in Quebec, claimed no french, but starting Alliance Francaise this week with plans to update later. Thank God we both have 2 kids because I am happy for those 8 points :D I will definitely keep you posted on the progress.

I dont think so i will have interview in this mission, but hoping to be in next mission (Probably in September).
Let's hope for the best.

Thanks for reply rifiel, yes i gave the letter from my current employer that shows that i am working in this organization. So if i will get 8 marks in experience then the total will be 63 points, that i needed because i m married, and that means i can get interview waiver...is it true ? and i m working in govt. organization that make any positive effect on my file ?

Points for work experience are not locked. You should get 8 points especially if you've included a letter from your current employer that indicates you still work for them.

Need expert advice:

I have applied for Quebec in march 2013, in march i was having 46 months experience so i can get 6 marks and in may 2013 i will have 48 months experience. So they will count 6 marks or 8 marks.

Thanks

Hi.

Normally the high commision will send you request letter for clearing / attending the medical test which is normally a hospital nearby to your place. You get time of 3 months to attend this test from the date of request. They have tieups like appolo hosp in ahmedabad for gujarat region. Once yiu attend the tests, the hospital will directly send the reports to the high comm. This report has a validity of 1 year. Once this OK report is sent to the comm by hosp, visa stamping is done.

From the time of receiving the request to visa stamping it could take 4-6 months.

Hey Riz

Do you know if interviews were conducted in the months of oct/nov in the last few years. I am asking this question as I am curious to know if there will be another selection mission sometime in nov 2013.

Looking at the timelines of some people, 2011 applicants have their interview lined up in apr/may 2013. I am wondering when our CSQ interviews would be, considering such a huge backlog, as we share roughly the same timeline.

Any idea???? 2014 or 2015????

Hello,

What is the foundation of your statement? There are quite a few people in this forum who have submitted complete documents, scoring well above 55pts and after so many months they still haven't got their QSW certificate. Really curious to know.
