Of my friend had applied in oct 2012 got rejection from montreal
And they have send all the documents and fees back to him

He had submitted A2 and had studied 5 years from uk but he is
Basically from india

The Quebec immigration announced new rules a few days ago for Quebec Skilled Worker and Investor applicants. To apply for either program an applicant will require permission from Citizenship and Immigration Canada or a connection to the province of Quebec. A connection is among others an offer of employment by a Quebec employer and a diploma treated as a Quebec diploma.

Does anybody know when the new requirement will be put in place, and if it will also apply to previously submitted applications?

I have no intentions to live outside Quebec once PR given but do not have an employment offer, family in Quebec, or any other connection to Quebec. How am I supposed to prove my plans to live in Quebec?

1)Degree : Bachelor in Computer Science (4 Year) Jan 2005 - Dec 2008
2)Age : 26 Year
3)Experience : Aug 2007 - Jan 2011 (as they count only post study exp so its 2 year)
4)IELTS : Listening = 6.5, Speaking = 6.0
5)French : Listening = A2, Speaking = A2
6) Financial : I am ok with it

Can you plz let me know how many points it will be.

If your Area of training is same as your field of study, then you will get 6 points.
Total = 49 points

I hope still I have chance to eligible.
Can anybody calculate my score?

Degree: BE(E&C-2004) M-Tech(CSE-2010) from VTU karnataka
Age: 35+
Experience: 6+yrs(Embedded)
English: no IELTS score
French: A2
Spouse age: 32+
education-BE (CSE-2004)
experience: 8+yrs
French: None
English: No ielts score
Kid: One (2yr old son)
Finance: Yes

As per my thinking your AOT falls under Section E as a Electronic Technician so you will not get any points. I may be wrong, please check your AOT from below link

Montreal received my application almost 5 months ago, and I haven't received any response.When did you apply?

Since I have completed M-Tech in Computer science and Engineering, I can consider 6 Points (Computer Engineering (Bach. - 4 years))

Spouse AOT=2points( Since she is working as software engineer in Cognizant in oracle domain)

You also have not given any IELTS exam then how did you calculate your point in english?

I'll consider 3 points for english since I have not given any IELTS exam.
So total would be
=12+16+8+6+3+6+3+3+2+4+1=64Points
